Ha Ha nah mate they're actually from high grade seeds. Im one of the lucky ones that got them when they weren't having troubles with sending orders. Ive got the original NLxBB from BC Seed company too which i'll be popping next to get a comparison. The BC Seeds one is the ultimate and ive been growing it for years, this one is pretty damn close though :D

Cheers man :) yeah i think the deficiency got a bit exacerbated by the intense light as well. Seems to have settled a bit now and ive just put the MH bulb back in for the last 2 weeks in the hope it might increase the resin a bit ;)

As you can see I've put the MH globe back in to see how it goes with trich production. Not worried about quantity, I'm after quality so hopefully I see a difference. She's starting to smell pretty bad though, had to make a diy carbon filter, hopefully it works!

Not familiar with the theory behind switching from HPS>MH late in flower - have you seen any effect yet?

Been a pleasure watching this grow EC and you are coming into the home stretch now.

Thanks Yankee, to say im stoked is an understatement, i didnt think she'd be this beautiful :)

No noticable effects yet, only changed it over today, should see some differences, if any by the end of next week :) I've got a mate that has grown with both MH and HPS (and both at the same time) and he now uses the MH up till end of the first week of flower, then switches to HPS and then back to MH and his results are awesome. You lose a bit of yield but it makes up for it in resin production and most of all flavour, well that's what we noticed anyway. He grew the same strain under all conditions and im more keen to see if it works or not :) cant hurt to try hey!

Cheers for being here too man, I've enjoyed posting it up. It really is this method of growing that makes it look easy ;)

Awesome easty! She is looking damn beautiful right now man. When temps allow me to I always run 2 42w 6500K CFL's as supplemental lighting in my box. I notice a difference in bud density and resin production when I am able to run the bright white CFL's but like you said you do seem to lose some visible size but it appears to make up some of the weight in density from my experience.

Looking outstanding though bro, she is going to finish up nicely! :weed:

Cheers bud! Yeah ive got some CFL bulbs but couldnt be arsed rigging them up so thought i'd give this a shot first! We'll see how it goes!

Cheers Chipper :D will definitely be interesting to see if she packs on the frost with the MH, only time will tell i guess. I'm purposely not looking at her until wednesday so i can see a difference...its bloody hard not to get tempted though, she is just a stunning specimen ;) cheers for the good vibes too man! I hope your mainlining goes well too, im real keen to see how it goes :D

No worries Mo!! It would be real hard not to sneak just a little peak I would imagine! The fear of more bud rot made me take the rest of the big girls down. I will update my journal later, just having a few games on the black ops 2:wink:

This is exactly what I like to do.... You really dont lose much for yield IME and there is a NOTICEABLE difference in trichrome production. As a rule you MUST take the glass out of your air cooled hood though as it greatly reduces the UVA spectrum that stimulates the production. Plants are looking great cant wait to see them finish easty!

Oh dude!! Well at least you got them this far hey and Im sure the smoke will be just as enjoyable :) bud rot sucks arse, ive had it a few times hence why i now have 7 fans in my room lol.

Ah fuck i forgot about the glass...mine doesnt come out, you reckon it will affect it that much?

Ive decided im going to just break the glass and remove it. I want a new shade anyway that's a bit smaller so this will be a good excuse to get a new one :D
