hi all fellow farmers....im looking to do 2xice by female seeds+2xwhite ice by white label seeds+1xsuperbud by greenhouse seeds+1 ak48 by nirvana seeds in a scrog setup this will be my fourth grow...but first in scrog...all i wanted to know will this item be good for a scrog..i seen wolfscott scrog looks great,same items to scrog but ones i want are bit bigger.but i think i will be buying a wider one as its 2 for the money....so could i put 2 under each screen or will it be better to do just 1 per screen if you look at the link it tell you the dimensions.....if its just 1 plant under a screen.. length will be 66inchs by 2ft11inchs wide.<-----that is 6 screens side by side..or if 2 under screen it will be 33inchs in length by 2ft 11inchs wide<-----3 screens side by side..........im also using a 400w hps is this light enough if it 66inch'x2ft11inchs <---6 screens or should i just do 3 screens 2 under each....im using coco+perlite..6xautopots... growtech coco nutes 100 ltr res

I'm not exactly sure of what you are talking about, but I wouldn't waste my money on one of those.
You have one 100 L cooler rez? And wanna run 3-6 screens from the one rez?
Why not just use one big screen? I'm using the same size rez cooler with one screen.
If you're doing a perpetual then I'd suggest using two rez's.
I also read that you are doing this in an attic and worried about the rafters?
How about you have one bigger screen and put it on chains or rope.
Anchor one end of the screen to the lower side of the rafter. (It will not move)
Install a chain or rope to the high end of the rafter so that you can lower that end of the screen down on the plants and make the screen level.
Make sure you have your intake and exhaust thought out before you start building.
Attics get hot and stuffy.
I'm not sure if this helped you or not.
Just need a better idea of what you have in mind. Keep us posted..

thanks bluberry for your reply..if i make a screen and join to one side of the rafter with hinges and other side i can higher/lower i would not beable to move around it....i did buy the item i showed in the link on previous post i will post pics soon of what it will look like so you can get an idea....as for perpetual grow i will have a little veg/clone cabinet with a 47ltr res so i will put 6 under vegg(seed)(so not perpetual) 3 weeks before chop chop they will be ready to replace them .as for exhaust and intake i have vents built in to the roof tiles for ventilation and the ducting fits in nice and i use a shower fan to pull in cool air ,and a shower fan to exhaust..and also just bought a cheap airconditioning(low wattage)(gotta watch the pennies lol) unit plus thinking of buying these to help with odour elimination they are something to do with UV ODOUR ELIMINATION ,BUT WILL HAVE TO LOOK INTO IT A BIT MORE.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/PREM-I-AIR-COMPACT-ODOUR-REMOVER-PURIFIER/dp/B002NZGTX2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1308831216&sr=8-4 .also i have pc fans just to keep the air moving the conditions usually stay around 70-80 degrees...which aint to bad they seem to thrive up there,but bit of a battle with temps in summer so i just use big oscillating office fan those big ones which are great...well thanks bluberry for you good advice...i will keep you posted..P E A C E

You could pull air thru it and exhaust it thru you roof exhaust with no smell.
I only have access to the front of mine. I would love to have the space or area to set it up with complete access. In the middle of a room.

hi again bluberry...like your carbon filter great job there and for $40 you cant go wrong.....my self i use ONAGEL its only £10 and it lasts a couple of months I cut hole around lid and top and stuck pc fan on top .....with that and small air con virtually no sell except ona gel smells like a laundry room lol....but its working....so i dont mind the expense for onagel ....thanks for your help and ideas appreciated....P E A C E

I been watchin Bro. It ain'tjust yours LOL. You guys seem to be pros at this shit but it's my first go at it. I originally didn't plan on scrogging but the bitches were outta control so I did some reading and threw the screen in there at flip time. Kinda learned on the go so to speak. I have to leave them for 1 - 2 weeks at a time for work so had to do something...day 30 in flower/scroggarama

I did a complete change to my setup.
Removed the 100L cooler and now have 2 5 gal sport coolers and one reg 5 gal cooler.
Each plant in it's own rez. I removed my screen temporarily til I make some adjustments.
Plants are looking healthier already. Same amount of air but half the amount of water.
Went from 100L down to 45L. Doubled up the oxygen. See if it pays off for me.

I don't know what strain they are dammit! I got em as clones from a dispensary and didn't pay attn to what was wrote on the rock wool cubes. It was something Berry. I'm gonna just go with it and maybe somebody can help ID em when fully mature. That scrog is two girls vegged 1 month then flipped off. Peace and TY for the compliment.

Less water volume = less nutes you gotta add and higher oxygen concentration. Saving money and you 're isolating them from one another so disease/root issues can't spread. If they showed up (hopefully not). Peace

hey did you ever figure out what was causing the yellow in your leaves? I'm gettin yellow fever over here on mine too, and can't figure it out. One is doing far worse than the others, but they all look a little lighter than I think they should be.
I have them on 1/4 strength floramicro/florabloom on the lucas formula.
ppm is high around 900, but they were fine the last 2 weeks on that
(I did add about .5ml of superthrive to each res) 3 gal reservoirs
pH 5.6
temp 78
I did notice some algae buildup last night, and flushed the tanks, re-did everything. I have the water up high, around 1/4in away from the bottom of the pots. I'm wanting to diagnose it before I throw bleach in the res.. Didn't mean to thread poach bro, thanks for any/all advice
