Dwc grow not taking up water

They won't be drinking yet if the roots are not coming thru the bottom. You can top feed until they start coming out. Get a tent and a light. If you live in a hot climate I would not recommend hps you will have a hard time keeping heat controlled. ALSO you need to read alot about how to grow
They Are coming through the bottom of net pot, I think my humidity level being super low is the issue I'm averaging room I'm growing in rh of 13,-20% and it only climbs to the 20 or somoercent mark if I just plant with water? Also I'm thinking of moving grow into a grow tent using a light, is there any light you'd reccomend ie hps LED a certain spectrum a d or color for remaining two stages of growth vegetative and flower ?

You definitely need to get humidity up for veg like 60s or 70s. Led lights are great I have no input on hps or cmh or any other kind. Leds run cooler so if heat is an issue get led. Just get a good one for the size of tent you get

Also one plant that is in trans plant shock might not drink a noticeable amount of water in a day especially with minimal roots

So my stem/ trunk should be on rock wool or some type.of grow medium as it's based and support? Right now I have stem trunk right in the clay pebbles, I had it in rockwool but removed it after transplanting from soil to clay hydro dwc Set up
A rapid rooter works.good so does rock wool but I don't use either sometimes and just put rooted cutting in rock wool. Those roots will wrap and grab hold of stuff and support it.

My plant is on my walk in closet no tent, and I'm adding an LED light, but I'm not sure the wattage led light I should get, trying to read jo on how many watts I'd need for both veg and flower even though I'm not at the flower point yet but I'd like to be prepared. Only issue is it's like reading Chinese they say 32 watts per square foot but I'm not sure how to measure square footage of grow die to fact it one plant so it seem to me as if I barely have 1 sf so with This being said would 1 32 watt led bulb do ? It's one plant want to understand growing my 1st plant then once I do this successfully future bigger grows should be easier with more knowledge

Length times width = square area

Yeah you could get a 2x2 or 3x3 canopy from one plant. Once you learn you could even get a 5x5 canopy from a single plant. If you get a 150-200 watts actual draw with a dimmer you would make out ok

When you say once I learn, what do you mean by that once I learn how to top and prune properly to make the plant fill out more? My plan is about 30 in tall now it's a lot fuller and wider than it was but it's not as full as I think it should be like there's a lot of space in between the branches and stuff I'll upload a pic tell me what you think sorry for the late reply I forgot that I was even using this form life you know gets in the way

Also I already talked once right The middle stem at the very top I cut it and that's what made the plant branch out so much more to the left into the right, my question is can I top again and if I can how do I do that if the middle stem that I cut never grew back but it grew out to the sides where do I cut now? I wanted to become more and more full and I'm using a very low wattage bulb only 30 watts does more wattage translate into better yield and better quality buds because it offers more heat and more UV rays? I'm sure I could just learn by stepping it up to a better higher bulb and see what happens on that plant but I'm only growing one plant right now I do have another 10 15 seeds of feminized strawberry cough and northern lights but I don't have the space to grow another plant
