Thanks Wdldtoker. What's up with the possessed Linda Blair? I keep expecting her head to start spinning.

I miss your "Little Homies" avatar....

Awesome plants and setup! I have something in the works like yours, only 1 tub w/ 3 plants & no net. If the clones take this time I'll get into the fabrication of the tubs.

How is your water level? Did you start off with the water very close to the bottom of the pots and pull back as needed? I can only think I would have to hand water until the roots come out of the pot into the basin, any tips?

Did you top them at all?

You should make a pipe out of that stem if it gets big enough! I'll be checking in often for updates, that's for sure! How are they looking? ... I guess it's only been 2 days since the other photos... no rush

Keep it up!

Thanks Sohi. I would have definitely had to start flowering earlier if I had 3 plants in each tub as these guys (I mean GALS) got bushy very quickly. I actually had a drip system set up with small aquarium fish pumps in each tank and drip sprinkler lines with holes poked in them running up to the net pots. Therefore, I never had to keep the reservoir level higher than about 1 inch below the net pots. I took the drip system off once the roots got established in the res. I think that next time I'll just run the res. level higher until the roots reach the water as the drip system is a bit of a nuisence. It would occassionally get air bubbles or clogged with nutes which would prevent the flow. One of my earlier sprouts dried up due to this, but luckily I'd planted 2 in one of the other net pots and just moved it over. Feel free to ask any other questions.

Oh yeah, I did top all four of them....

Thanks G - Dub! I've kind of wondered the same thing. I just figured everyone's read a bunch of bubbler grows and they're burned out on the subject. Oh well, I appreciate the people who have stopped by to chime in.

I just kind of jumped into it blindly about a year ago. I had 2 soil pots and I had all these Rubbermaid storage bins laying around. I honestly (take the oath here) had not read any posts about dwc or seen any of these sites. I just got all creative with a bin one day and thought it might work. I thought it had to have a drip system and didn't even know that you could run a system with a res. and air pump alone. Anyway, my first 2 drip/dwc plants turned out to be male, and one of the 2 soils were female. So 1 of 4 female for 25%, kind of my luck. I kept one Hashberry male and one Skunk/NL Haze female and crossed them. Now I've got about 400 seeds.

Anyway, before I make a long story even longer, I took a break for awhile. Then I got back into reading here on Rollitup and decided I'd give it another shot. Anyway, here I am again for my 2nd grow with 2 bubbles res's with 4 plants. All I can say is "Holy Shit" have I learned a lot from this site. I'd love to discuss the trials and errors I've gone through.

I know they say the 3rd time's the charm, but I'm hoping for a little bit of Midas touch on my 2nd try here. Just hope at least 2 are females. 3 would be awesome, and 4....well...I'm not going to get my hopes up for that.

Look forward to hearing back from y'all!!!

Gracias ru8!

I kind of got sidetracked on my last post and forgot to mention my main point. That was how I was so completely amazed about how much faster the hydro plants grew than the soil. All of my 4 original plants were the same age and within 2 weeks, the hydros were literally 4 - 5 times bigger. I ws shocked and instantly addicted to hydro. I suddenly understood why everyone says once you go hydro, you really never look back.

Yeah, this whole scrog thing is new to me (so is growing for the most part - my 2nd grow). We'll see how it goes....

Day 29 (Day 3 of flower) - Update for y'all. Day 3 of flowering and plants are still filling in and growing vertically. Found one very small white hair on Satori 2 (right front) but almost too early to tell still. Two of the other plants have extremely small signs of what I fear to be males, but the could just be pistil pods as well, so I'm holding off judgement.

Did a full Clearex flush yesterday and ran system for 1 hour with 7.0 ph water and Clearex. Then switched to "transistion" phase (week of change over from 18/6 to 12/12) of Botanicare nutes, which now adds Pro Bloom to the mix and begins to decrease Pro Grow. Nutes are at 900 - 950ppm now and I'm planning on very slowly raising them up to the 1200ppm max level over the coming weeks. Ph has been maintained at the 5.75 level, but was raised to 5.9 earlier this week for 2 days to assure potassium and magnesium uptake (these supposedly precipitate at 5.85+). I'm also planning to occasionally dip into the 5.5 - 5.6 range to pick up Manganese as well. See chart I'm referring to: http://www.gardenscure.com/420/attachments/nursery/77467-day-10-veg-leaf-tips-curling-nutrient_chart.gif

I continue to hope for chica plants, but I'd be happy with 2, stoked on 3, ecstatic with 4.
