DWC 400 watt first time bag seed grow

okay.. good news or bad news? ill start with bad news.. I think that slow grower is about to kick the bucket. Good news: I've got some Mazar seeds, I feared this plant was going to die yesterday.. so I germed two of them.. haven't checked them yet, but I will tomorrow afternoon. So the new sprout will be a week behind the others.. but its all right, I'll just use super diluted nutes in a week..

So there it is.. with death comes new life.. blah blah blah.. my seedling's eulogy.. poor Sally.. (wifey named this one).

but I'm excited to see a different strain..

Good luck man. Is the Mazar more indica or sativa? Did you order them?

nope didn't order. A friend of mine did and had an outdoor crop.. didn't sith the male's (yeah, he's just dumb).. any way.. I have a surplus of them from just a few nugs.. VERY SEEDY.. but the smoke is good and its been free.. just makes me wonder.. all that energy for seed production and still good smoke.. Imagine all that energy transfered to THC prodo.. sounds promising.. odds aren't good but we can hope for a lady...if not, I've got some future tries..

By the way.. slow grower is RIP... just started wilting.. tried everything I could, roots went brown. So hopefully one of those seeds germs soon.

Mazar has germed.. this should be fun..

mazar is very high in THC content compared to other strains. its supposed to be on the same level as white widow. that would explain the potent, yet seedy buds.

Okay, so my roots have really taken off.. and now the foliage is catching up. Here are some pics..

also, Mazar sprout is growing SLOW... but it looks healthy.

I don't know much about fim. what is the difference between that and topping it?

thanks dude. Yeah, I'm pretty new to it, all I know is it is the same as topping you just leave about 10 to 20 percent of your new shoots instead of taking it all the way down. It's suppose to make more than the two shoots you get from regular topping. Something like 4 or 6. Apparently it was submitted to High Times by a reader..He was topping and didn't remove all his top, result was more than the two branches you would usually get. I forgot what FIM stands for but its something that guy came up with.

Here's a pic update.. I was feeling frisky.

anyway, pic two is the one I fim'ed. I don't think I took enough off, the leaves grew out and a new set came up. I have sinced re-fimed the new shoot.

Pic four is the one that is not topped or fimed.

Pic five is the one I topped. Its very messy, lots of shoots very conjested compared to the other two, but I know I'll find this attractive later.

The last picture is the Mazar seed. The little lazy mazar seed. Not doing anything. We'll see how far along it is when the others are ready to flower. If it still looks anything like this its probably getting the boot.
