yeah, wondering the same... mainly wondering if they REALLY work... just seems like it can't be that easy.

How do you use the jars? Do you just open them up and let them sit?
I poke about 5-6 holes thru the jar lid and thats pretty much it. The more holes...the faster it dries out. Mine last a couple months at least.

If it gets really stinky I'll place one near a fan and that takes care of that.

Huh, well the condition with my wife is this... as long as it doesn't stink I can keep it. So you think I'll be good with this ONA or should I go for the ozone generator? My babies depend on it

that vid is the best. the news people could barely keep it together. you know they puffed a few before, or it wouldn't be so funny to them.

i am only on my first grow. so i dont have much advice.

on the smell i am 2 weeks into veg not much of smell yet. i also have a rescue i took from a friend and its on week 2 12/12, still not much of a smell. you have time.

do you have a pic of the reflector. these air cooled reflector are worth the $. especially if in a small area.

check out my grow you can at least see the setup i am talking about.
i have to do some updates. but cant stop reading everyones journals long enough to do so.

Can you post the name, size and brand of your ONA jar please. Or even better, a picture of it.

thank you.

I am thinking of adding a jar of ona gel to my closet.
Is it really that strong? Does it completely eliminate odors in rooms. It so, would it be smart to by like 5 and just set them all over my apartment?
I have a 250 cfm fan sucking air out of my room into a homemade carbon filter but i live in an apartment so mistakes are not acceptable and all precautions must be taken.

If you have a carbon filter setup. ONA will be overkill. They arent cheap. 5 @ $15 isnt cheap.

If your filter is doing it's job....no need for ONA....IMO

Maybe one of those DIY fan/bucket/pinesol things will help make sure things stay fresh in the rest of the apt.

A carbon filter would be best. ONA is for when you dont have the $$.

Cool man. Thanks for the insight.

I think i am still going to by two. Like i said, with me being in an apartment mistakes are not acceptable, so i will take every precaution nessasary

But again thanks, rep points for you :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

7 days from first leaves:

okay, so its a week since first leaves.. and since those last pics they've really taken off.. well, three of them have. The other is having much slower progress.. It's not light burn, and I haven't even started nutes yet.. I'm guessing its root system hasn't developed as quickly as the others. The three goodies are already showing roots through the bottom of the pots, this lady isn't. I'm thinking to start nutes in one week... any thoughts?

Here's some recent pics:

Nutes are B.C. Boost, Grow and Bloom, though I'm not using them yet...probably in a week.

and yes the temps are now never over 86.. except once when my wifey left the door shut with the fan off. Got up to about 90.
