i'm not too informed on hydro problems, so this is guesswork
still looks good on the whole, but it's hard to see leaf colors under hps
the brown curling tip usually indicates too much nutrient, i think you mentioned you had dialed up the nute levels
the budding seems to be going well, hoping you can hold on here to get the fine harvest

Also, since it's a Blueberry, some of the signs for a P def might be hard to analyze, because the color changes resulting from it (red stems, purple/blue tints) would be normal for your lady :eyesmoke:

:-(having some issues here at the beginning of week 4. i believe i have a Phosphorus and Magnesium deficiency........
be very careful here. for one, sometimes novice growers mistake one for the other. it is probably not both. honestly i'm not even sure which one it is could you please post a couple more pictures of other problem leaves? magnesium deficiency can be caused by too much potassium in the soil, but before we talk treatments lets see a few more pics. as growone says, it looks like it might be nute burn rather than deficiency.

yup yup, thats what im hoping for. the side buds will prob be airy and not as dense as the others, but thats ok, now just crossing my fingers that she doesnt hermy!
i see a lot of talk about hermies on here but let me explain something to you that may ease your mind. your plant isn't a hermie. we would know this by now because hermie plants produce both male and femal flowers because they have XXY chromosomes. males have XY, females XX. your plant has XX and this is obvious at this stage. so, if it produces male flowers the plant is INTERSEXED rather than hermied. this means it still has XX, but is producing male flowers because it thinks it needs to. many plants do this towards the end of flowering naturally, and its hard to breed out because it evolutionarily advantageous and been there for longer than ppl have been growing the stuff. however if you do get seeds from this, they wont be so many that they ruin your harvest if you pluck stuff as you see it (i even let mine go last harvest and ended up with maybe 10 premy seeds and 3 good ones for the whole plant). also, the seeds will all be feminized. this is how females seeds are made, inducing a female plant to produce pollen by whatever means it takes, usually justl onger flowering or GBA solutions.

this looks like some serious hydro issue - plants don't go this quick in soil(from what i've seen anyways) - something bad is happening in that resevoir

Dude I don't know what that is. But I did have 2 blackjacks that looked the same. I could not due my weekly water change due to a death in the family. When I checked them 2 days after I normally changed my water they looked like that but wayyyyyy worse. I would flush your rez and run just straight water in it for a few days.

ac still broke, since im in an apt i have to wait till the naintenace guy comes and replaces it, goin on the 3rd week now and Zena does not like the highs of 92 degrees at all. yellowing everywhere except the outside leaves where thee isnt much light. leaves are falling off dying.
it is what it is..
regardless shes gonna get chopped down the last week of july, that will be the start week 10. fingers crossed to chop sooner but i highly highly highly doubt it. she has BARELY any resin production at all and shes starting week 6. buds are fattening up a bit, actually one branch is leaning over gonna have to tie that one up in a couple days, or just leave it, fuckit, they need to be lower from the light anyway.... we'll see how it holds up in the coming days.

i definitely now know that the heat stunts growth but can anyone tell meP1000460.jpgP1000468.jpgP1000462.jpgP1000455.jpgP1000459.jpgP1000458.jpgP1000457.jpgP1000456.jpgP1000461.jpg how the heat will effect the smoke/yield/taste/potency ?

the yellowing doesn't look good, definitely going to loose some yield
but may not be a heat issue, though the high heat isn't helping
you will usually see some 'canoeing' of the fan leaves, the edges will raise up to give a canoe appearance
i don't see that here, upper leaves have a normal structure which where you would have the worst problem, i.e. it's hottest at the top of the plant normally
heat won't hurt resin production, may actually help, but every strain has its quirks

sigh, i've yet to watch a dp blueberry grow end well
i know there are some that have, but i haven't seen one yet, maybe this is just a bad luck strain

yea man no males, no other flowering plants for that matter. in my veg closet i have 10 slh clones waiting to root and jilly bean at 3 weeks. so no mature males around. yea man, sucks. but its ok tho. i will still smoke it lol and i see some blue/purpleing in the bud. those pics are of that top and thats the only top with the seeds. all the other tops, so far anyway, have no seeds or male sacks. 2 1/2 weeks to go..

I wouldn't worry... I have had some isolated branches with seeds in them for some reason before. Any chance your let one bud too long and got some banana balls?

Give the beans to your friends for their first grows, they are good practice for starting seeds lol.
