Dusting off and updating my old grow cabinet

Update on the plants. They are looking gorgeous and starting to get some growth at the nodes.

I'll be taking out the intake fans today.

UPDATE...... Intake fans have been removed

The temps are still getting up to 80 ( no higher ). So removing the intake fans did help a little. But as i said before..... i believe its the light.

I upped the nutes on friday and noticed brown spots started forming on the right plants bottom leaves. So i kept an eye on it for a couple of days and seen it was getting worse and seen the left plant hasnt grown to much. So i researched the brown spots and found that it could be from to much nutes, or Ph level. But the only thing i did is change the nutes. So yesterday i emptied the reservoir, cleaned it, and made a new batch of nutes for them. Its been 24 hours since i changed it and i dont see the spots getting worse. But I will keep an eye on them. And pls correct me if im wrong.

And now some questions.

When should i start the LST ?
And when are the plants out of the seedling stage, I read it could take 1 - 5 weeks. Is there an easier way to tell when its out of seedling stage?

Definitely has to be light then, bro! I've heard of the UFOs running pretty hot. Plants will live though.
You can start LST as soon as you have enough branching to tie down, usually around week 2-3.
Your plant isn't a seedling anymore when it starts stacking nodes and growing vigorously; then you'll be in veg.
I know nothing about hydroponics.
Good luck bro

ok thanks for the info. I tied them down today. Im giving them a couple of days to see if the spotting gets worse. Hoping it doesnt though. But that light does produce some heat. I believe id be ok if i have removed the seedling chamber shelf, and made it part of the flower chamber. Maybe i will do that after these plants.

Yeah, the lst looks good. They'll bush out soon. That could indeed help you out next grow! Then convert some small piece of furniture into a veg box.

Yes a 2' x 2' x 2' night stand might work, like i used in my second grow. I could use it to clone the tops and lst them. But idk how crowded that space would get over the time duration of the flowering plant.

Does anyone have experience using FF nutes in hydroponics. Im having issues, every time i up the nutes to the suggested nutrient level on the feeding schedule for week 1 and 2 using the big bloom and big grow the right plant starts to get the brown spots on the fan leaves. But if i back it down to the seedling level, they do ok but hardly grow.
Do i need to do a different mixture, if so where should i start? What nute should i give less of?

Ok so i went ahead and did some research on fox farms and found out most people dont give the plants the full dosage. So i ended up using 2 tsp of the big bloom ( same as seedling ) and 2 tsp of the big grow ( same as week 1 & 2 veg ). If this doesnt work then ill just start from the seedling dosage and add a quater of a teaspoon of each nute and work my way up.

I changed the nutes on Saturday and the plants dont seem to be getting worse. But they are growing had to tie some stems down. Im still keeping an eye on them though.

Well, I guess im trying my luck at cloning in soil now lol. Yesterday while doing some lst, one of the small branches broke off. So i decided to cut a 2 liter bottle in half for a pot and drilled small drain holes on the bottom. Dipped the clone in some root starter ( after removing bottom node fan leave, cutting at 45 degree angle, and skinning it ), and put it in some moist soil. Its outside for now. Its alot more perky compared to yesterday. Guess its time to start looking for something to turn into a veg chamber.

Good job @bertosmurf! I hope to start cloning once I start second grow.

It was a no go. The clone was all shriveled up and leaning over when i check on it the next day. I like cloning with a bubblephonic system ( system im currently using now ). This was first time using soil for me, and i dont have any meters for soil. So it was doomed from the start lol.

Good luck with yours

Today is the last day of vegging for these two. I flushed them with water for the last 24hours, and cleaned the resivor, and added blooming nutes.
