Mr President, why are you trying to make a bad matter worse ?

I am not a Lions Fan per say, however, the call, non call was bad enough.

Then, you Mr President you, must weigh in, and your opinion is stupid. I agree 100% with you Mr President,
however, for you to say what I also think out loud, is wrong, on many levels.

Mr President, do you not have better things to weigh in on? Wars ? Rumors of war? Price of fuel?
Stock markets ? Golf? Something, anything, just not on something that can not be fixed.

As an avid sports fan recognizing another avid sports fan in Obama, it sucks that he can't openly talk sports without criticism. He's a bears fan and stuck up for the Lions, that had to be tough from his fan perspective.

But yeah, maybe as president he sometimes doesn't realize the weight of every word he speaks and how serious people take it.

Put this in perspective though. He was in Detroit doing a "look how I saved you" tour when asked about it. He didn't just volunteer his opinion. I'll give the commie a pass on this one.

Everyone who is a sports fan needed to comment on that BULLSHIT. I had picked Dallas to win,but the Lions had that game. Dallas paid someone. Hate refs who ruin a honest game.

I'm not biting on the conspiracy theory and home cooking but... i still have ass-hurt hangover. It was heartbreaking. I mean, it just killed them the way it was handled.

Dallas still made the plays at the end to win and we didn't, but that 5 minutes in the twilight zone was hard mentally to recover from.

Guy that game was rigged for Dallas to win. That flag pick up on a PI has never been done...and lets not talk about Dez running out on the field. That's 15 yards right there. I call BS and home-cooking. Jerry paid well.

I do blame Lions coach for not going for it on 4th and 1, but it should never have been 4th and 1

Pettigrew was held off the line on that play too.

The NFL has also admitted a blatant hold on Suh was missed on the 4th down completion to Whitten but they miss those a lot. That PI call/no call was just out of nowhere.

I have a couple other comments:

The never has been done before- incorrect.

Dallas vs Seattle(Romo's first playoff game)

It's almost the end of the game and Tony is driving the boys down the field. The boys are down in seattles redzone. It's 3rd and short. Romo passes to Witten, first down! Or so the ref signaled anyway. Nope. They conferred and said nope. 4th down.

The Cowboys send out the kicker to win the game(only a few seconds left in the game), only to have a slicked up ball go through the holders hands(who happened to be Romo, and it just so happens they made a rule because of that slick ass ball) and Dallas loses.

We didn't get another chance. Detroit had a couple. They blew them.

Edit: I think the real problem is how they pick refs for the playoffs. It's not the best crews. It's like the pro bowl for refs. Guys not working together all year suddenly have to. It's like playing defense in the pro bowl. There isn't any.

Then you heard the call was for face guarding which isn't a penalty. They could have called hands to the face on Pettigrew. He hooked bs pulled Hitchens face mask towards him and that's why Hitchens couldn't turn his head. They could have called holding on Hitchens, but then they'd have to do that on every single play as it wasn't enough to do jack shit to Pettigrew who blew by Hitchens only to have his QB throw a shitty pass into the defenders back.
