Have the same prob with my e/f.I use a turkey baster to get the rest, yes time consuming but cheap and effective.
Was thinking of purchasing a water bed drain/waste just for this purpose.
That's good to know about the bleach. I intended to us it like I would h2o2 every 3-4 days(replacing h2o2 entirely), is there any reason you use h2o2 instead? I usually don't add either
with a fresh batch for adleast 24 hrs. I like to take advantage of the chlorine already present in my tap.

no their is no real reason I add back h202. I intend to get a prefab table also in the future.

If you add the PC then yes, but I don't have one and sterilize my jars with steam for 90 minutes. When I get a PC I will move to grain and monotubs.

Ok, sweet cheers, i use Half-pint jars. I want to sterilise about 6 @ a time, so how many litres should i get - i.e 7L/9L Pressure Cooker?
