Just read ur thread u were right mostly pics. The plants r lookin good. I dunno a thing bout the shrooms but u have my attention. Me and some buds used to trip all the time been a few years though.
Looks like it's mostly a waiting game. I also have 0 experience with opium what's it like? My Dad said he loved it in Vietnam. What seeds did u order again I'm pretty baked right now 4give me. +rep on all u got goin bro good job.
 
thanks man, and subscribed, those plants look awesome. a buddy of mine was growing some shrooms, he had them all over is house in tupperware containers and jars, i mean everywhere. i havent seen him in a while so i dont know how they turned out. good job tho!!
 
So, I needed a couple more jars.

need to have some sort of a barrier over the ports, I have been using micropore tape, it's at the drugstore for like 2 bucks...

I haven't had a mushie since late 80s, never around here or are gone fast when they appear, the opium I did not enjoy that much. Opiates aren't my thing, but it was a cheap experiment, some peeps like opiates more then others, but mostly they aren't stoners which I am.:joint::joint::joint::joint::joint:

I wish I knew a long time ago how easy and cheap it is to grow mushies, it looks to be an eventful summer :shock:

So, you need vermiculite, brown rice flour, and water...

mix well, should be damp but not wet...

straight dry vermiculite on the top 1/2" of the jar for contaminate barrier...

cover with tin foil well to keep water off top of jar...

I put some gravel in my steamer to keep the jars from direct heat which could crack them...

90 minutes of steam, then let sit 12 or so hours so they are completely cooled enough to get noced up :shock::shock::shock:

that was a lot of work, time to....

Optimum from start to first flush probably 6 or 7 weeks, I have not made an incubator which is what is needed for quicker colonization, been too occupied with the grow room...
