Drying Q's...

I'm harvesting half my stuff today, the other half next week.

I can do the drying in a cooler room that is in the 50 degree range and roughly 60% humidity with the dehumidifier off. Should I do it there and let it dry slowly while making sure it doesn't mold? Or should I just use my grow room which is 45% humidity(dehumidifier running) and 75 degrees F.

I've been trying a few things with the samples I've snagged over the past week, I loosely rolled some in paper, another batch I have in a paper bag, and for the main bunch I was thinking of just cutting the plant and hanging in my cold room for several days, then move to paper bag, then to jars...

So far the samples have been pretty good. I'm only keeping the nicest cola's to smoke, the rest I'm going to turn into hash. I plan to try making some iso hash, some with everclear, and if I can find cheap bubble bags I might try some ice has, but damn for $100+ for a couple bags I could buy 5+ grams of bubble hash from the dispensary, and I dunno how many grams I'd actually get from 1/4lb or so worth of bud, to justify buying the bags.

Any tips? Thanks.

Turn the dehumidifier on in the cold room and bring RH down a bit...it will be a super slow dry probably turn out great..

Well, here's what I picked today:

And I here's some ISO oil I extracted and put out in my car to evaporate, heh hope nobody steals it hashoil.jpg It's my first time making it, I bought 10 bottles of 99% iso alcohol for $1.50 each, I was going to try to make ice water hash without screens but just went with the iso alcohol hoping to extract efficiently.

I got some cheap ass bubble bags off of amazon, i think they were called ipower bubble bags or something like that. They were $35 or so and did the trick for me. I ended up with 14 grams of pretty crappy hash from a bunch of trim i had from previous harvests. I've been looking into the iso deal, pretty curious to see how yours turns out.

i agree with chewberto, i hang dry the whole plant in a room that is 68* and 50-55% humidity. Humidity decreases slowly (never under 45%) over the next 5-7days. If your chopping off branches your drying time may be faster.
