drying big cola/buds?

chopped these beauties this mornin :bigjoint:

im worried about how i should dry it.
the bigger one waighs 99grams
smaller one 90:-P:-P:-P:-P:bigjoint:

im hopin il be left wit about on ounce a peice if i can get them dry witout a disaster:-(.

need some advice on the best way to go about it.

The procedure for drying/curing buds is the same for me regardless of size. I have found that the big dudes take a bit longer to dry as they have more moisture in them.
very nice looking.

i found a good way to do it.... i i hang on the ceiling fan lights and turn the fan setting on the low... i dry until the buds feel dry then place in bag for a day of 2.. then jar it..
 
would anyone know if freezing the bud for 2 hours then trying to dry them might help or work in anyway? i'm actuall trying it myself, 2 hour dry then put it back with a fan.

I would not put it in the frezer, INMO, you will lose trics and may be inviting mold in the future.
 
My advice is to just hang them in a dark semi cool closet with a fan running to circulate the air, any where from 3-7 day's depending on the size of the Nugs, the humitity and temps,,,Than Cure them in jars for a few weeks and you'll have some kicking Buds.

Hang them just like ya have them in the dark. No need to cut in half. This is a 5 to 7 day process. Speed dry is the last thing you want to do.
 
yea you might want to cut the bigger buds off of the main stem, then dry them in jars by burping them every 2 hours or so for 2-4 days then str8 curing for the next 2 weeks or so....thennnn you have yourself some grade a smoke brotha. peace :bigjoint:
 
let hang for a day, then put in a plastic bag so the moisture has a chance to equalize throughout the cola, then dry for awhile, then bag for awhile, ...... until it's nice and even and dry to your liking. rushing the process will only lead to badness
