Dropping nitrogen for a flowering plant

One of the problems with my last grow was excess nitrogen. I fed it according to GH (actually it's a clone of GH) schedule, but it looked like it overdosed on it with the shiny leaves that clawed down, and then it revegged. Finally, I had to chop it and destroy it because it hermied.

The new plant, like the old one, drinks a lot of water. Roughly a gallon per day, maybe a bit less but I add around 20 liters (4 gallons) of water every 3 days. It's in a 10 gallon tote.

Now my second plant is in flower, and I'm thinking of dropping "flora micro" (5-0-1) completely. It's 3rd week since i flipped the lights. It's flowering.
It would be getting Flora bloom (0-5-4) and Flora Gro (2-1-6), but not the micro one. The leaves are dark green (they are VERY dark) and there's a ton of them.

Is dropping the predominantly nitrogen nutrient OK idea for this stage in hydro, since the leaves and the root system already stored nitrogen I fed them during veg?

I'm just trying not to reveg my second plant. I really need this one to succeed, and it looks like it's ok with less nitorgen.

You reveged from excess Nitrogen? And you believe nitrogen needs to be reduced in flower? I suggest learning PH and how to read a plant. Your confidence precludes total ignorance as to chemistry involved. Try dirt. Then contemplate liquid IV. LOL. Peace.

Perfectly capable. Are you capable of accurately admitting your mistakes? Nothing you wrote is logical as plants grow.

Now I shall allow my dick to descend to your level. You may decide you need help. Or drown in your pride and internet knowledge. Just pull three times. Noobs.

Anyway.... ignoring the asshole above that came here just to pick a fight "over internet".

If anybody (anybody else) has an opinion, or did the experiment themselves (lowering nitrogen during flower by stopping flora micro) I would be happy to hear.

I did a bit of googling few days ago, and people generally agree that lower nitrogen is desirable during flower, but it varies to what degree. Some cut it out completely, while others just add way less, especially half way through flower. Discussion for reference:

My leaves are dark "dark" green. They look healthy, and not clawing or becoming shiny... it's just that they are very dark green in color, and it's the first actual week of flowering... so thinking of cutting out micro.

Don't use Flora series unless you are growing trees... I burned my fingers way too many times with that shit.

I've done entire DWC grows with nothing but ready to go bloom nutes, from one single bottle..

Anyway, what EC are you running at? I would probably just dilute the overall mixture down, and not mess with the ratios.

EC is about 500. Cal mag, hydroguard, the GH flora series (a quarter of what's actually recommended). That's what I usually do, and the plant loves it in veg, it's growing uncontrollably. Just concerned about the dark green leaves. If they are dark green and rich like that in Veg when the plant needs a lot of nitrogen, I'm wondering what would happen to them when they stop needing that much nitrogen during flower. Nitrogen toxicity comes to mind.

Last plant I grew had clawed shiny leaves that looked horrible, and that started in flower week 3. Same feed as with the current grow. That was obvious nitrogen toxicity (according to everyone that I asked), and I just followed the feed chart.
