I have a plant indoor and i just topped it. My old man told me that i should top it to yield more and it will grow like a bush instead. Well i did that. The bottom leaves which aren't even 5 blade leaves are turning kinda yellowish brown on me. Should i just let them eventually fall off, cut them, or maybe they will make it. My dad also said that it may be from not getting any light from being on the bottom. The plant is almost 4 weeks old, and about 7 to 8 inches tall.

If it is 4 weeks and 7-8 in tall then it isn't worth keeping, and sounds more like you have been overwatering it, or using insufficient lights, or over feeding, or using an improper soil mix...something has gone wrong...

Unless it's a stick, keep it. Let the plant use up the leaves, and they'll fall off by themselves.

I've topped, but I have to say, supercropping is much better. You don't remove any plant material (so nothing has to grow back), and the branches and stems get much thicker/stronger than with topping.

Warning - the buds will be smaller, but much more plentiful.

hmmm not that there arent tons of thread on this (there are) but your asking basic question directly enough that no one should have a problem answering, what you did is a form of "trainig" by cutting the "apex" you redistributed the growth hormones so it will now grow more bushy.

bottom leaves brown and die all the time, it can be one of 2 things, not enough light, not enough N. i would try light first then feed second.

4weeks old 8" sound normal pic do a hell a better job on describing than words.....

and topping, supercroped, and any other training can only make you yield more if the conditions are right, most people find that they yield the same but rather the weight is distributed amongst several colas with a topped plant.

oh and listen im trying to be nice as have a serious attitude much like you, but you gonna have to take this as a life lesson if you plan on sicking around,
A)dont get mad the devils advocate is the most favored role around here
B) getting an attitude will make people much smarter than you play kickball with your words..
C) just learn not to take this shit serios if you really want to learn to grow weed your gonna have to read the books, nobody has time to go over basics all day especially when they are already layed out for you and easily accessible.
