Don't ask questions that have been answered at least 100,000,000 times plz

I have been noticing that people like to just ask a question like what type of light do i use how to flower ect.
FUCKING STOP asking questions that can be answered in 5 mins with google and a little effort, COME ON

hahhaa, i have to agree there, people just need top browse around the site, no need to go to google, there is plenty of info on this site but people are just lazy. If people just look at the title of the threads it will answer 99% of the questions, and there is even a "most common questions" section too! people are retarded, and or lazy....

@nickfury510 it was a plea bargain not a law and my point is valid so i have no idea what made you react the way you did maybe YOU are the thread police for telling ME whats up?

you seem a little bitter & upset, its only a post. If they have questions they maybe be simple to you, but not to others. I agree, people are lazy and just need to spend more time browsing around this site before they post, but no need to send them to google or tell them not to post, this site is great & very informative for me at least.

The issue for me arises when you point someone in the direction they need and then they expect you to spoon feed them the rest as well.

i am talking about posts were it is obvious that there was not little but NO effort into research before a post, I'm in no way saying don't post but i believe that you should research your question before asking it here to not do so is just RUDE. -DNK

I just try and ignore those ones in a hope that they'll google out of lack of reply

amen... alot of newbs scared to do their own research...& beg for help to save their plant when "THEY" fucked up their own plant

Oh thats what i tried to do but if no one answers because the question can all ready be found on riu, they just bump it by calling us all jerks for NOT replying than i have to see it at the top of the forum so thats why i made this post.

Aye, the worst is the line "i've searched and searched but can't find any info"

but then again...the newbs will not stop asking... just a way of life on here.. i jus ignore them & try to help the ones that have legit questions... not the ones asking "whats wrong with my plant.. i have no PH meter nor do i check my PPM/EC measurements when i water nute my plants" PLEASE HELP...

If folks just came here and read without posting the site would not be what it is, it is the lazy redundant questions that rank this site high and get folks here not to mention paying the bills for Rollie. If you feel it is a redundant question simply move on without responding to to it, that is what I do, if we stop answerin em unless they have given proper info and posted a pic, they would soon get the message,,,,eh?

my issue is twofold. besides the lack of assertion researching the initial inquiry, why do some people feel the need to go off on a nasty name calling rant when 7 whole minutes have gone by with no reply? it's the "thanks for nothing" comments that really piss me off, especially when someone hasn't taken the 2 minutes to research their new craft.

no most of them seem to not get the message IE ( thanks for nothing ) and its back on top of the threads *shakes his head. as for total head and LAX skunky Bws + rep and Lax skunky bws has the funniest quotes in his sig i almost dies laughing no joke 2 people in my family have had laughing induced cardiac arrest!
