I love cats and dogs. Cats arnt dogs and dogs arnt cats, 2 different species, 2 different ways of life. I think everybody that i meet that hates cats never grew up with them, or owned any cats. My family always had cats that were friendly, loving, playful ect.

we were lucky to get our dog for 400 bucks...cuz boxers typically go for 600 or more...i would love another one but i cant afford it--and puppies are 350 bucks or more.

What I was getting at is there are always "free kittens" in the paper, but the only dogs you can get for free are mutts, and I never see ads for free dogs. A mutt will run you about 100 bucks around here. Even if you go to the pound it'll cost you at least 50 bucks for a dog.(Shots and shit)

Because the kittens at the pound don't stand a chance at life unless someone takes them home...My kitten only cost about 40 dollars... Some of it goes to the shelter [most shelters are non profit organizations that depend on this money to keep going] and some of it goes towards an aids test... awww siamese cats are so cute. even dogs at the pound arent free tho...well...here where i live anyway...its 250 bucks to adopt a dog from the pound, and thats just for a mutt...but if u wanna get a pure bred dog they cost a ton of money...which is probably why the kittens were so much, cuz of the breed. we got lucky with our dog...cuz she doesnt have her papers to prove shes pure bred, but a boxer with papers usually goes for 800-1250 around here...i wish i could adopt a dog from the pound for free tho
