My dog... (a fawn doberman 120 lbs) ate 2 full batches of ganja brownies. I am talking about 2-cups of oil and 2 brownie packets worth... I was making them for an april 20th party. My dog of course wanted to indulge in them and didn't realize that it was ALOT of ganja chocholate. He was high for 4-5 days. I never saw a dog deside to put his weight in a lean against a fridge. He started to lean to the left so he supported his balance by criss-crossing his front paws. It was funnier then all hell watching him mope around. He was so high that he threw up in a tuperware container that i had put down for him.(I never thought a dog would actually make it in a bucket.) It was a good laugh all around. My girl thought he was going to die, wanted to take him to the vet. I of course didn't take him even after the 4th day. Now he wont eat anything off a plate or table.

Good times great laughts.
†LHMFAO† fucking awesome.

It is like we are promoting dogs to eat weed at the moment!lol!
Actually, I'm thinking about digging up videos of animals high.. .†LHFAO†
And actually, thats a good idea, fuck it, lets promote it, and one in the audience want to join along? †LOL†

The only problem with the Video's of animals all messed up is... The animal involuntarily got drugged.

With our cases the animals "WANTED" to indulge. And I am sure my dog wont want to indulge again.

I have no respect to people that force it on their animals.

You should be reported to the fucking rspca or who ever locks wankers up for shit like that cruel. Wanker.
haha, i fed two dogs a half ounce of weed in some brownies, they slept for two days and could barely walk for a day after that, i had to carry one, big labradors! They survived and it was a lot of weed, also pretty quiet and looked like they were deep in thought for a few weeks. They refused to eat any form of canabis since then.

Honestly, if this is the big social injustice that your concerned about, maybe you should open your eyes and look around. As far as 'forcing' I agree, but if they wag their tail when they see you go to get high and they want some, its just being an asshole to say no. You can come up with your reasons on why its supposed to be a bad idea, but if any of those were true you wouldn't be getting high either. While we're talking cruelty to animals I'm almost sure if you had a dog you got his nuts clipped. I love the justifications that come up with for this. News flash, never had my dog clipped, and kept his ass from breeding all but one, and thats because the owner really liked my dog. THAT is fucked up, and if you don't think so go get clipped and talk to me all about it. like While we're on the topic, we're not worth bothering with, right? So why did you even post to begin with? OMFG, someone had a different opinion then you on the net!! yea, great reason... †LOL† Look, if you want to take life that seriously, by all means, your choice, but don't expect me to. In conclusion feel free to fuck off. :blsmoke:
oh, and have a nice day.

I feel the same way about my dog so I can understand your concern. I'm sure he'll be fine, nothing has ever overdosed from cannabis.
not true monkeys and lab rats over dosed in the late 60s from americas corrupt govt pumping weed into there lungs nd no o2

If you were listening to that documentation the government sufficated the monkeys. Lack of oxygen to the brain will cause it to die.

Named the Heath/Tulane study, after the doctors who conducted the research, the monkeys were subjected to 30 marijuana joints per day for 90 days. The study claimed that the monkeys would atrophy and die within the 90 days and showed signs of brain damage. This study became the foundation for the US government’s argument that marijuana kills brain cells. It was discovered 6 years later that the monkeys were forced 63 Colombian strength joints through a gas mask within 5 minutes, without any oxygen. In essence they were being suffocated in order to manipulate the data to fit with what the government wanted.

I dont know about you but my monkey smokes 63 California strength joints in the morning... That bastard monkey wont share!

while we're on the topic, How about CannaTreats™©2011?! Dogs would love that shit, their normal healthy doggie biscuits with a touch of fuck it ;)

I thought it was cute to quote a study then include that they weren't given Oxygen. †rolls eyes† But yea, I'm sure it was the weed that did it. Yea, fact remains no one or no animal on record has actually overdosed on cannabis.

Narcing, or is that just being a snitch? Being that its just aspca, I guess its just being a snitch.:hump:

Just thought I would let you know...I work as a vet assistant and getting your dogs high is definitely not good for them. However, it will not kill him/her unless he/she ingests really large amounts. The effects should normally wear off within 72 hours. Regardless, purposefully getting your animal high is bad for them and can cause respiratory problems, diarrhea, and cardiac abnormalities just to name a few. Your little buddy doesn't need the goods and your better off keeping them safely out of his way. :)

Agreed but it dose happen and what people are saying is that now and again seems to have positive effects on the dogs. Have you come across these situations?

Yes, more often than you would think, although people are very unwilling to admit when their pet has ingested marijuana (as you can imagine). However, most of the vets I've worked with never report anything to the police, nor are they required to do so. When an animal comes in with marijuana poisoning we treat it as we would with most other toxic substances. An IV to stabilize fluids, close watch and sometimes activated charcoal is given orally because it traps toxins. It all depends on the case and how much was ingested. I can't say that a hit of weed is going to seriously harm your pet (nor is it worth it to bring your pet into the vet for this), but it is certainly unnecessary to give large amounts. Overall, I don't recommend any because you never know what other health issues your pet may experience in response to marijuana (allergies, kidney stones, UTIs, heart palpitations etc).

Very, thank you, far more pleasant then...previous posters of different views. My dog never liked the smoke at all so I made him treats, but they were never very strong. I normally made the butter just using swag seeds, and he was only allowed two a day. I was fortunate enough he never wanted my stash. (We did once have to resist killing a neigbors cat for stealing our stash right from under our stoned noses while we sat in the back, didn't see the kitty for a few days, but I KNOW she had to be blown our her wits)

as far as health, now that you mention I guess allergies should have been a concern, I got lucky I suppose, he's still alive and well and 10 years old. Use to also put this stuff called 'Rescue Remedy' in his water bowl, it was several herbal extracts, including passion flower, that helped calm his nerves.
