Some have purple stems and yellowing of the edges of the leaves
What do you guys think?
Im at 40000 lux (1000par) 3500k with added 660nm red
29c air temp
Co2 at 1800ppm
Water Ph 5.8 water temp 19c
Nutrient Ppm 1000 canna
Coco mixed with perlite
humidity in the day bouncing between 50 and 60%
night time temps 24c nightime humidity bouncing between 45 and 60%

Could it be heat stress or light stress? Nutrient deficiency?

Strain are mixed Zkittlez, OG Kush,

also getting some leaf burn looks like nutrient burn but the run off is like 1000ppm so surely shouldnt be at 1000ppm

i also make sure theres lots of run off like 30%

Sounds like you know what you're doing, try backing the light away and lower ppm, save you some nutes. Cheers.

One thing that always bothers me about Canna nutes is how hard it is to find a picture of the label online. I've seen mag deficiency a lot in canna grows and the time it usually shows up is during stretch/early flower. Not saying that's the case, but you'll find a lot of people have that problem with those nutrients.

I agree I have learned from a horticulturalist that usually when we have these red stems and leave veins And it’s not genetic it Hass to do with the plant not being able to equalize the amount of light it is receiving in the amount of nutrients in carbon dioxide and water- So basically what I’m told is in some cases if you’re not running organic you can just provide the plant with more nutrients and more carbon dioxide but if you’re running organic it’s going to be more difficult for you to up the amount of nutrients immediately so backing the lights off is the best option in that case

Thanks for the help, its progressed a bit from the last few days slightly worse now
Which Canna nutes? Just A+B?
How often are you feeding?
Have you lowered EC as suggested? The only time I hit 2EC with Canna I had 6' tall plants fed 2x/day in 4 gallon coco hempys. A+B+Cannazyme.

For your next round, I suggest getting a small 4lb jack's 321 kit offa ebay (like $20 or less?) and do a side by side with Canna. I bet you switch. ;)

700ppm-1.3 ec start to finish imo

medium and ph of medium must be good for good plants. test run off or use another method to figure out what is up in your medium.

then make it good
Do you have a journal we can look at with you running 1.3EC from seedling , to harvest?

I dont see anything listed for Calmag or Mag Sulphate/sulfur. Usually red stems is an indication of a mag deficiency or slight chronic over watering. The leaf burn is from too high of ppms too often or too much light. BUT!! if you have been overwatering the root hairs could be rotted and will show up looking like deficiencies, yet its overwatering. Good luck

Is purple only above the trellis where light can hit it? You have those red pucks??
Stress can cause purple. I see your using C02 and high temps. Perhaps it’s an under feed ??
I know when I leave my clones in organic solo cups too long they’ll-start to go purple. After I transplant it goes away.
