really, I wonder why everyone starts with them is all. I've used their line, a dozen others too.
there were others that performed better imo but thats not part of the question. my first was
gh, they are fine, but others perform better too.

I like water, but look at your directions.
the program will automatically reduce your nutrients to plain water, call it flushing or not, you're already done when the plant is done without worrying about it if you follow directions right?

yeah but i heard you should flush every 4 weeks
remember, everytime you water with water you're flushing. if you want to feel good about the practice give them water until it flows from the drains eachtime you water, but I wouldnt do that, I dont "flush" in my soil pots

I've never seen the need for any container larger than 3 gallons. I grow in Coco/perlite

yeah, it all depends on your expectations, grow space, plant numbers allowed, veg time, managing skills, available resources and more. for instance hauling water for a ten gallon plant might be impossible for some, or vegging a tree in the basement might be what someone wants to do. IN hydro a shampoo bottle works to grow trees if you can support them. fat bottomed short dirts grow really cool plants.in aero all thats needed is a 3 inch net pot. all depends

I was stuck on 2 gallon pots in my flood and drain, then one gallon bags for my organic dirts, then two gallon pots, now five gallon pails is the ends. exactly fits my needs here. I hated watering daily, I hated the trays on stands to support the little pots.pails on the floor now. I veg in one gallon bags, to veg in five gallon pails, to flower perpetually

I have also used General Hydroponics in the past. I forget the name, but i remember it was much more expensive than FF.

I had good results from it(flowering)

hmm,,

just looked
general hydro 3 x 1quart system30 bucks

fox farm 3 x 1 quart system 45 bucks.

I think GH may be the cheapest of all. My biggest bang for the buck bottled hydro nutrient was Dutch Master Gold 3 part. I grow organic style now, Organicare all the way with pro mix for a few years now.

I don't doubt your prices. Must of jus been marked up at the hydroponics store I got it from. It was like 15$ more than FF
