Do you wash your jars before you cure?

So like the title do you wash em right before each cure...or just take ur old sweet smelling,empty jars and throw what you need to cure in em?

Interesting question, would have, in the old days, given you rep. In answer, no I don't....just shake them out and re-label for the next batch. Figger that there is not enough % of old to influence the new

True...im washing mine now as they sit open randomly and who knows if anything else has gotten into em...also if you dont wash and just keep using the same ones you are loosing less trichomes I believe cuz the glass is kinda already covered in em... you know what I mean

If it is the same strain that was previously stored in there I dont clean it in between. But if it is 2 significantly different smelling strains, like a fuely OG and something fruity in there before, I do wash it to avoid imparting the smell. With cigar humidors it's called "marrying" and tobacco pipes "ghosting", I think maybe same thing can occur with marijuana storage.
