Yes vegging lol..... I see... I was just curious on using such big pots....but it makes sense if their basically a bush when they go in em.....lol

I got my greenhouses as I'm sure you know. I like to end up with 8 to 10 footers at chop. I use between 30 and 40 gallons of soil per plant. It's the perfect size pot to keep the rows as tight as possible and save some ceiling without hurting the shear size of the plants either. I do have to water more frequently though. Ive actually been experimenting with vegg and pot sizes for the last few years. I've almost caught up to my plants that were started early,with my experimental girls started during summer hours. It's a bit more work having to transplant a few more times.....if all goes well I may not even start under lights next year.....I like to be at around 3ft tall and done topping for the last time at 4th of July. For more years than I can remember 4th of July day is when I top the last time and start LST.....I love how most growers I know use the 4th of July a a milestone during outdoor season.

Knee High by the 4th of July lol. I do my last topping the last week of July and Still have very long colas.
I don't do many plants tho so I go for more yield per plant. I like your set up tho ;)

I had one like that this year but was about 5 6 steps out further .looks wierd when you first notice it .i had to take a couple nodes off as i just didnt have any room for the extras just up from the V .i used thick fence wire as pegs ea side of that v to prevent it from splitting as was still training the branch along ground ..

Pot size matters when it comes to yield. Happy roots=bigger fruits. I personally wouldn't do anything smaller then a 25 gallon pot outdoors. However I'm shooting for over 5 pounds a plant this yr.

No doubt. I think what I was trying to get across, I'm sure not all of out here are in a situation where we can grow extra large pots. Of course pot size matters but you can still grow some dam fine shrubs with a lot less

Last year some of my plants were found by Law Enforcement, so I'm making a real effort to grow smaller plants this year. Mainly I used smaller holes with less soil mix. Some worked out great, but lots of them ran out of food too soon. Next year I will have to go back to bigger holes, but try to work with when I plant to control size.

It is a great way to force root growth and expand the stem. 15 ft thats a big girl whats your heaviest yield from one plant ? Care to share some photos ?
