yes- they will give you FALSE readings.Thank you. So I can disregard the trichs on the sugar leaves?

Had to bump in on the thread.I have general anxiety disorder (it’s embarrassing but it’s the truth) and it seems I’ve always gravitated towards Indica dominant strains. This hybrid is 60% Indica and 40% Sativa (not including ruderalis percentage.) If that’s what another week will get me I will wait.
Glad to hear you made it off the meds. I find that telling others I have anxiety does in fact make me less prone to have panic attacks in front of them too. It’s amazing how many people know someone who has anxiety once I tell them my condition. I usually don’t mention it though unless I know them well. Looking forward to being med free!Had to bump in on the thread.
No shame bro. GAD here as well. Express it.
I find when I experience anxiety and vocalize it to others around me it helps more often than not.
And therapy is better than any medications you can take.
Dropped seroquel, anti-psychs, alprazolam and blood pressure meds.
How? Just like you bro. Therapy, actually vocalizing my emotions and good old Indica!
Pharmaceutical free for 7 years now after a decade of mental agony and living in a daze of forgetfulness and fog.
Nice plants btw. I’m at the same stage of growing too.
Thanks brudda!Im glad things are working out better for you now, Be careful of those Benzos, i.e Diazepam and Valium, they are nasty. I alternate between Mirtazapine and Seroquel, every few months , 2 month mirtazapine , 2 months seroqual, both are great in very small doses for sleep.
Take care and if you ever need to chat you can PM me.
No the photo not the closeness, i see a green trich, blue, white, purple brown on some luch gree with black background. Stunning.Awesome photo! I will have to dig out my macro lense and see how close I can get.
I grew 2 plants indoor that were different strains, one had leaves that yellowed, the other one didn't. Everything was the same for both plants except the strain. I think it depends more on the strain than the conditions. So I would like to add a bit of input as far as the yellowing of leaves.
I agree with kingrow that a healthy plant will stay green til the end. However enviroment can cause yellowing even if you are doing everything right.
For instance, when growing outdoors...the moment It gets cold and wet in my area leaves turn yellow (some yrs faster then others). On the yrs we get a lot of rain with low temps, there is not much I can do to stop fading from happening. The reasons I believe is that in soggy cold soil, the microbes do not thrive. This will cause the plant to suffer a bit losing the uptake of minerals and nutes causing chlorosis. Yrs that we have warmer dryer falls it's not really an issue but it's kind of rare that warm falls happen in this area.
Indoors where enviroment can be 100% controlled there is not really an excuse.
Different strains will require different feedings sometimes.I grew 2 plants indoor that were different strains, one had leaves that yellowed, the other one didn't. Everything was the same for both plants except the strain. I think it depends more on the strain than the conditions.
I didn't see it as a problem, got almost 1/2 pound from the plant under a 315W CMH. I thought it did pretty good for a "moderate yield" strain.Different strains will require different feedings sometimes.
Some are magnesium whores while others require more p or k... or even one can have iron deficiencies while other strains are thriving. An experienced grower will be able to read the signs very early and adjust before it's a problem.
Just like my jelly pie seems to need way more phosphorus then my others who are fed the same. So I feed it some sea bird quano and not the others. Boom problem solved.
I’m trying if it doesn’t die first. Lots of those yellow leaves are gone now. It is a beautiful photo. The focus is perfect. No the photo not the closeness, i see a green trich, blue, white, purple brown on some luch gree with black background. Stunning.
I dont care for trichs, your plant needs longer like two weeks
I’m glad to hear the forgetfulness goes away. It’s horrible how the meds mess up memory. I’m in my early 40’s and my 72 year old dad has a better memory than I!! My memory and sex drive are pretty bad. Perhaps too much information lol.Had to bump in on the thread.

Not saying it is a bad thing or that you cant get yields from it. Just saying that you could have kept it green til the end if everything was dialed in properly for that strain. Yes I understand fading is the plant stealing nutrients from the leaves. If the soil is dialed in the plant wont have to fade. When you have all green leaves then you are getting better photosynthesis, which only leads to better yields.I didn't see it as a problem, got almost 1/2 pound from the plant under a 315W CMH. I do see some ambers in there, but they really look like they are clustered together which makes me think they turned amber from being handled or damaged at some point. I know its really hard to be patient, and let the plant finish. I really would be waiting another 10ish days most likely. Actual harvest day isn't usually something I decide before hand. I just watch the plants until they have shown me all the signs.Did you see the new trichomes pictures. Doesn’t it look like half clear and half amber? I will post pictures in another 3 days. Just tell me when and I’ll chop!

I appreciate your patience and coaching through this. Good explanation for the amber patches. Makes sense and makes waiting easier.I do see some ambers in there, but they really look like they are clustered together which makes me think they turned amber from being handled or damaged at some point. I've watched buds put on so much weight they bent over strong stems in just a few days during the final weeks.
Ever consider HRT? That’ll jump start the old sex drive. 100-200mg Testosterone a week is all it’ll take.I’m glad to hear the forgetfulness goes away. It’s horrible how the meds mess up memory. If health declines much more you will be forced to cut, you will know when harvest is.I’m trying if it doesn’t die first. Lots of those yellow leaves are gone now. It is a beautiful photo. The focus is perfect.

In the meantime... 5000 -8000iu vitamin D3 for a few days then maintain around 5000. You’ll know if it’s too much as you’ll wanna urinate more.
Should perk up the mood and sex drive a little in the meantime.
And on topic in the thread. Thanks for the info. I’m trying to dial in harvest time too.
Harvested too early my first crop. Second crop pushed longer, but still not feel long enough. This time I’m pushing at least one plant far past what I feel is ripe. Gotta make mistakes to learn.
Kinda like how I always have a plant I get healthy then try to kill. This time it’s over fert. Next time will be ph swings to the extreme.

Photos are the way to go. With autos the clock is tickingHow many grows did it take you to become confident in these things? Do you think I should be learning on photos vs autos? Thanks again man.
