Do U Want To DOUBLE The Crystals On Your Plant??

they are only uvb,
'uv' light is uva + uvb.

cant you just put your plant outside for like 30 minutes/

it's what i've done in previous grows, just sit them outside on a clear sunny day.

Hey Doc, Have you tried this before?
I have a friend that is doing this at the moment with great results, pics will follow tomorrow he has one room with and one room without, he is a using sunbed tubes for his room and the crystal has covered the plants immensely.
I will get him to email his pics to me so I can post them, he is to paranoid to go on these sites.

Yeah the sun is good enough for it, u may need a bit longer than 30 mins though.
but this isnt advisable for some1 with multiple plants 1 or 2 is ok, also dependant on where you live!

if this is true i have a face tanning device with 4 uv lights in it, and it has an hour timer on it lol, and my girl is 4 days into flowering so ill incorperate it into my set up and see how it goes

Nice idea Baz, get some pics going while using it and post them.

I tried it once with a 15 watt tube type fluoroescent bulb. Exo-terra repti glo 8.0. I started 5 seeds in 5 different cups without germinating and they all sprouted under the light and did fine for a couple days, until my dad heard the fan going in the back of my closet and decided to check it out. If anyone does decide to buy one of these lights i would go with the screw in type bulbs. 26watt is the biggest one for the screw in ones..40watt is the biggest for the tube ones. Also they come in 2.0, 5.0, 8.0, and 10.0. Get the 10.0 because it emits the most UV rays. And this light DOES emit UVA (33%) as well as UVB(10%). I got the exo terra brand and they are great but i think zoo med brand is just a little better. (for my iguana at least)

yea i will do i robbed its reflectice metal bit to make the light rig in the first pic which i used all the way through veggin, then converted the lights in to the hood in the second pic, and then the metal reflecting bit was surplus to requirements, so i stuck on the wall behind my plant doing nothing really, so i'll be sticking it back into the face tanning device in the 4th pic i knew that would come in handy one day

im not sure on this AT ALL but i THINK i rememer reading that the bulbs made for tanning humans skin is bad growing weed.. maybe it emits UVC? too lazy to read up on this to find out because i dont have a face tanning device lol but sounds pretty cool man post the pictures and tell us how it works out. you might want to slowly give the plant more and more of the tanning light every day instead of turning it on all day the first day.. see what im tring to say? sorry im a bit foggy headed

i swear i knew this guy who worked at the chernobyl nuclear power station in russia, and he ate an orange a day to keep the doctor away and he came back with cancer, so id strongly advise you to stay away from oranges also
