Do Si Dos 33 (Barneys Farm) RDWC

it's been it's been about 10 years since I have done a grow Journal. I just picked up some seeds from Herbies Head Shop 2 days ago so lets get crackin!

I like to use I like to use the tried-and-true paper towel method to germinate along with an old school heating pad (they do not have Auto turn off) then I put them in one inch rockwool cubes.

ANYONE wishing to comment please do so. Suggestions are always welcome as well. I'm not sure the rules here having just saw the post about commenting in other people's journals.

They are coming along. I goofed up and gave them water that was a little too cold the other day. Stunted slightly but they'll pop back.

I just realized I neglected to reveal my nutrient Solutions makeup.

Dyna Gro Mag Pro and Bloom at a ratio of 1:2 bringing my solution to 1000ppm. (Source water is Tap 90ppm)
Dynazyme
Hydroguard
General Hydroponics PH up

Sorry for the delay in updates, I had some health issues come up and my baby's got neglected a little bit (not much I just didn't get to train them like I wanted to).

The vegetative phase was pretty uneventful, plant grows nice thick stems, with medium-sized leaves, not finicky at all when it comes to nutrients.

We are now 2 weeks into bloom, so far I have only identified one phenotype and I am pretty sure it is just going to be the one, mainly because they all have this lovely doubleleaf mutation.20210403_122716.jpg

Week 3 wooo is she a stretcher! Lots of bending (and a little breaking) again this is a phenotype hunt and i have health problems at the moment so I really didn't get to train her like I wanted to. The stretchiness doesn't help, yield will suffer a little, quality of course never will! Ignore the beefy gal on the left I run a perpetual.

Week 4 they are still stretching a little. She's packing on trichomes already so she's going to be potent! Her flavor and aroma has also revealed itself. I am pleased to say that she is identical in smell to my old Aurora Indica plant. Very citrusy. I will try to get a better picture next week it's hard for me to get around in that corner right now20210414_201550.jpg20210414_201600.jpg20210414_201517.jpg

Week 5...OMFG! I am not sure that I've ever had a strain this Frosty at 5 weeks. Not going to be the greatest yielder, but not the worst either. Stretches like crazy kind of an expert plant. Next time I hope to manage the canopy much better, I have had a lot of major health issues. Wasn't even sure I was going to live to see the end of this grow, I tried to take good pictures but my hands won't stop shaking. This was the best I could manage in my current condition20210425_202905.jpg20210425_202719-1.jpg20210425_202413-1.jpg20210425_202333-1.jpg20210425_202719.jpg

Harvested a few days ago at 9 weeks! This is some of the best cannabis I've ever cultivated. Has a strong citrus smell and flavor. 10 out of 10 on everything except yield which I would give about a 6 or 7. Again sorry for the delays and gaps in posts. I had a lot of problems with other plants in this grow, these ones turned out great though. I also had serious heart problems20210513_165939.jpg20210513_165824-1.jpg20210513_170004.jpg20210513_165842.jpg

Thats a wrap. Quality 10/10 Yield 6-7/10. Has a strong fruity citrus flavor. Some of the finest cannabis I've ever experienced. Both phenotypes have the exact same flavor. Phenotype 1 is more Frosty but not as good as good of a yield. Phenotype 2 yields much better and is more purple. Not quite as Frosty but still awesome.
