The people conducting these town hall meetings, it is their job to listen to, and represent, the people

it has become terribly obvious that in 99% of the town halls they have visited, a majority of americas completely disagree with the plan

still, the train rolls on despite a minority support



the point of this entire thing has no longer become an issue of health care

its the plain and simple "right in your face" actions the government is taking


they are not listening to the people, at all

they are doing whatever they want and not even taking the people into account



people, including myself, are getting really pissed off that elected officials are ignoring americans

we got obama today saying "it WILL pass"


If the bill passes with this pretty high majority against it, it will have set the precedent that the government no longer listens to or cares about the cries of its own people

that will lead to horrible, horrible things.....

new horrible legislation, as well as potential riots

probably because rational discussion is not allowed. when you shut down the only forum that you can express your opinion then EVERYONE is SILENCED. why cant anyone grasp this?

any rational argument which could be presented against this healthcare reform is silenced along with those who oppose it.

when you actively shut down the forum this is what happens. the plan goes along anyway and nobody gets to argue it. and why? so a group of fucking retards can scream "JUST SAY NO!!!! JUST SAY NO!!!! JUST SAY NO!!!", intimidate everyone, and shut down all discussion.

Just because the majority of people who WENT to the town hall meetings may be against it doesn't mean that the majority of ALL americans are against it. Two very different things.

here is an example (do not take this to the extreme because i am not speaking of a "death panel")


an 80 year old "relatively" healthy man gets diagnosed with a cancer of some kind

there is medicine and treatment available that has the ability to prolong his life an addition 6 months to a year beyond his expected expiration time

they would also send him to some "acceptance" and "getting ready for death" counseling like they have been mentioning



the doctor would not provide care to this man, as he is 80 years old (going to die anyway) as to cut costs, and save the treatment for a younger, healthier person


and as for your statement, i do hate obama, but i let him make his reputation on his own, and lie after lie, i continue to dislike the man more and more

unless the proponents of this start getting active they will be vastly outnumbered, as they are now

i just dont understand how you could vote for

1. more taxes, because we all have money to just throw around right? (even when he promised not to raise taxes)

ROFL ..... dude if a 80 year was told he had cancer what do you think they would do now...please tell me ....Well let me tell you what they did to my Grandmother who did have cancer and who was 82 years old...The health insurance that she had did not cover the all treatments for terminally ill patients as she was classed, so she was sent home so she coul be around her family until her passing, so I want to keep this type of treatment and not try or see if we could do something better.... Geez and also take the time to read the darn bill..Page 29 deals with the subject of cost-sharing and has nothing to do with how much health care you will recieve.

once again, i read the bill, stop being childish telling me to do something i already did....again

cost sharing reffers to what you, as well as the government, and insurance company (as your co payers)

there is a LIMIT on your cost sharing

like i said, 5k$ for individuals and 10K$ for families

once you set a limit for a service, you are rationing that service....

its the very definition of the word ration....

again you said page 29 deals with ration and it does not talk about how much or how little healthcare you are getting ( which is rations)...Page 29 deals with the subject of cost-sharing and has nothing to do with how much health care you will recieve..... my request for proof of your baseless claim was useless? funny because i thought the baseless claim with no evidence was useless.

Maybe this health care thing will be a good move. It will help get rid of all the old people who produce nothing and suck up all the resources like parasites. Perhaps the death panels will finally decide to euthanize all the mentally handicapped who can do nothing but drool all day. Instead of treating people with AIDS or terminal cancer we can justy get Dr Kevorkian to make some house calls. Think how much better life would be with no grandparents and no retards! YAY!!

Besides denying the vote to women, states would be free to deny it to millions of men on the basis of property ownership, and of course, millions of men and women would be enslaved.

Stop watching FOX so much geez...Guess what right now your insurance company is your death panel...they reject applications based on pre-exixting conditions and family history....they hire people just to see how they can save money by not giving you this or that.... some people geez
