ok I had a normal air intake over my window (as I have over all my windows)
its one of them small boxes wher you can open or close em .. just passiv ..

I removed the box and filters so I can see I have a opening thats like 2 inches wide and 15 inches long or so (also removed the netting from out side .. and then I fit some of the net from work (200 my netting) to keep bugs out ..


then I made a strain from it to my passiv intake so it could pull fresh/cold air in .. did work .. well more or less .. intake was a bit small and only passiv so had to have the same size hole in to my room .. so 2x 100mm holes ..you could say it got ½ and ½ fresh air and air from my appartment ..

now I removed the smallest part of the cardbord strain and replaced it with 100mm plastic tubeing .. and also got a cheap bathroom ventilation ..



just a 15$ one ... 100M3/hr .. to help pull the fresh air in and down the strain as it is like 4 meters long .. could still fell the fresh air comming out the strain before I fit it but even more with it on ..

ps.

I still have a 100mm hole in to my room .. but now I have a small pice of cardbord covering like 95% of it (that how much it take to give me a slight negativ presure in my grow room so curtain is pulld in a inch or so .. so no odour can escape)

also so I can remove the cardbord if/when temps become to low (Im in denmark . we got seasons .. winther is cold with snow and 10F or lower ..
spring and fall is more like 50-60F .. only summer (june/july/august) it can hit 80 and sumtimes 85F but thats like a week or two tops ..

just a littel update .. in week 2 (8 day in 12/12)

evrything looks great .. plant realy growing .. can keep the HPS 18 inches away with no problem ..

tho temps in the grow room do get in ther high (28-31C)

but I found a new fan I will buy next month (more then double my size and I will use the "old" one for fresh air intake as it works great)

There ya go . I just cut the ties on some of the branches I LSTed on the plants for the side by side. that were on the outside perimeter. That way they'll grow closer to the light over the next week. They still look good. I'll get some pics tomorrow probably. I'll be giving them the first feeding with the two plants getting rock phosphate and the other two getting the PK tea in a few days.

I've actually been obsessing over making this huge ass worm composter all week lol. I was gonna make each stack 40"x36"x12" because the perforated metal I ordered is 40x36...and I have a bunch of plexiglass I can use from my old custom snake cages from when I kept Burmese Pythons that I can cut and use...but then I found an ad on craigslist for 275 gallon totes that already have a drain opening and everything at the bottom, so I'm thinking I can get a couple of them and cut them up and recycled them into huge worm bins with 3 stacks and a drain at the bottom for the leachate that the compost creates.

Lol...it's all I've been thinking about. The pros, aside from having my own free super compost, and not having to by worm castings at the store anymore...are that I could sell a couple hundred bucks worth of compost every month, and probably around $300-400 a month selling the worms that will be breeding in the compost. So the money I make on the side doing that will pay for all my nutrients, at least the ones that don't come from compost.

Do they not have medical cannabis laws where you live?

My best friend (and roommate) snitched on me and got us raided, along with all of our other friends, when I was selling pot. He was selling it too of course. But he got caught with a quarter, and set me up for a larger quanity when he would have only gotten probation. Yea, I would be spending $800 a month on pot at least if we weren't able to grow, we're fortunate compared to a lot of people. Funny how the US is the reason most other countries have such harsh drug policies, but now we have 17 medical marijuana states lol.

Yea the laws are designed to recruit more people for the for-profit prisons in the US. It's crazy. But people don't care if it's not happening to them.

It's over-priced for most people that want good pot. Dispensaries in MI usually charge $100+ a quarter...I smoke at least 3 grams a day. I usually go through almost an oz a week.

yea same .. 3 grams a day .. tho with good strong hash I can cut that down to 1-2 grams .. still 3 in the weekend ..

but I can buy the best hash for around 100$ for 10 grams .. realy sticky.. soft.. smelly .. only need like ½ a gram for 2 smokes = 8+ bong heads

when I sumtimes buy/smoke skunk/pot I can stretch it longer I belive .. but lets see ..

Our Ferderal government does literally whatever they want. They raid patients and dispensaries without any regard to the fact that they are legal in the states. They spent 250k raiding a cannabis college and historical museum in Cali while less than a mile away a bunch of people were being gunned down. Literally while feds and US marshalls were just standing around the college steps..it's crazy.

I like doing 4 plants under a 600. I get 3-4 oz per plant depending on strain and how good of a job I do. You've got pruning down, next thing for you to look into is canopy level. If you can prun good and get a bunch of long branches the same height, you will be doing great.

And you'll probably get about 8 oz from what you've got going right now. You should start some seeds now however. But after you use up what you've got, buy regular seeds in the future. Fem seeds come from hermaphrodite plants, they are more prone to stress and you shouldn't breed with them either. Get regular seeds and I'll show you an easy process to sexing them and getting things perpetual.

why I realy like Fem is that I dont have to bother to keep and care for males with the limit space I have ..

also .. will start seeds a bit early ..

but maybe like 2 weeks before haverst (in like 5 weeks or so from now) when I begin to Rip em ..

its totaly dark ... have check .. after 5 minuts in ther I cant see a cencimeter .. in the start of flowering I did check and could after 5 minuts in ther skim realy wake light on the floor from the intake .. plants is up high like 2 feet and ther I could see **** .. tho did fix it so now ther is absolutely non .. zip .. zero ..

and ther is nice ventilation in ther .. just for a week before i cure em in big coffee glases ..

then my new plants would be 3 weeks old .. I will keep em under 2 tube t5HO 6500K out side the grow room with a small fan blowing in the room .. Im sure that could work .. replant them in to ther final pots when I move em in under 6 tubes and then veg for maybe 2 weeks more and then switch ..

3 weeks wont smell much and will be easy to handle and dont need much light .. just so I have em ready and can cut of 2 weeks in the end ..

dont need to haverst evry month or even evry seccon .. if I get 8 oz from my plants Im good for minimum 3 month ..

no planing on breed/clone .. just want like 4 haverst a year of some diffrent good weed ..
maybe over time add a few things like DWG a 400W MH cool tube for later veg and late flowering .. aso.

atlest thats my plan .. but you know with me .. I love building stuff

only thing I realy have my eye on for next month is a new ventilation .. double my air flow and I can use the small 100mm for intake ..

its a 125mm so it fit my filter ..

You're pruning is awesome, what I meant by canopy is getting all the top buds the same height. Plants still look awesome. Yea, I keep forgetting you did some outdoor before, but yea, you're better off sexing reg seeds. /

You'll probably want to clone once you get 2-4 strains you like going. You could have 4 girls of different strains ready to flip, then put them under 12/12 for a week, then take 1 cutting off of each plant and put the 4 clones in a dome or some kind of setup where they have high humidity. Then they'll take 10-21 days to root, then you replant and veg for 5 weeks or so..and by then they'll be ready to flip and your other plants will be ready to harvest. You could do that process over and over without buying seeds or worrying about anything until you want to switch strains.

And yea, it totally makes sense to dry in your flower room. But if you end up doing a perpetual after this grow you'll want to set up something else to dry in.

and sure .. is trying to get a even canapy .. turn em daily ... keep the smallest shoots closest to the light most of the time .. also turn em to give em less heat stress even tho I mostly keep it on 30C or under when its hottest (last 6 hrs)..

still tie down them who realy shoots up ... also try to get all the small side shoots in the middel to shoot up ...

dunno when to untie em all ? read somewher that you schould do it in flowering ?

so in other words .. drying in my flower room is a bad idea .. hmmm .. maby make a small box .. with one of them cheap bathroom ventilations with a cheap activ carbon filter on .. can get boath in my local wallmart (2 miles away) filter is for cookers (over the cooker) round 6 inches big .. checkd them last time and it is normal carbon inside with some netting around so schould work if temps aso is`t a problem and you just want air flow and odour free ... will cost me 30$ in total ..

can hang the buds in ther on strains and keep it light tight and keep the air fan going 24/7

fist priority must be to continue to learn and keep it under controle .. I realy enjoy the plants looking good (cross fingers)

a littel veg room (maybe a shell in my closet (2x2 feet) can remove a shell so I have 3-4 feet hight .. a 2-4 tube 2" fixture or a 125-250 clf and some kind of ventilaton .. so I can start seeds/plants early .. so I have em ready to move in to the flowering room once I haverst ..

If you get an even canopy you don't ever have to untie the LSTs.

Just remember, however you decide to grow, that if you grow hydro (no soil) you can expect good yields and potency, but not as good of taste. It will be more commercial if that makes sense. Plus you can't eat it or juice it if grow more than you can smoke.

Yea, ventilation should definitely be next. And then some kind of veg/cloning area. And like you said before, you have all those nutrients to use up anyways.

Oh, and NOOOOO!! Lol. Don't cut off any branches of the plant while it's flowering. If you want to harvest some early, harvest the whole plant. Especially with feminized seeds, you'll hermaphrodite the plant. But you could harvest the smaller one two weeks early, and yes it will be more of a cerebral high like a sativa, with less of the couchlock. But the high is a little shorter too.

its not like I want to haverst uber early ... or cant wait .. just want to try a early and a late to see what I like the most ..

if I schould be so unlucky to grow way to much .. I´ll make KIF/Hash and oil of some of it (bottom 2/3 of the plants)

but you know .. next runn with 4 plants I might grow one for tast/look/smell .. like the blue dream and the rest for yild ..
then I can have some for evryday use and some for sleeping on my bong and some for joints that I want to enjoy with friends and want to tast/smell good ..

if that make any sens ?

plant grow so fast that I had to raise the fan .. got it realy close to my HPS now .. so that is good .. temps is (29 at the tops .. just takeing air from the out side now)

but had to move em down .. was 14 inches away and top small leafs was curling a littel bit down at the edges and is a bit light green (heat stress maybe or light stress or water stress ?)

have to water them 7 gallon pots evry seccon day !!! guess high temps and fast growth = lots of water .. but still a lot .. me think ?

p.s.

if I at some point wanted seeds .. could I do the cutting .. with the last plant and then keep it and hope to see male flowers .. can you make seeds like that ? and is it Femi seeds then ?

actualy that is what I use to do when I grew out side ..

take the top 1/3 .. all the nice buds and cure em ..

then take the rest of the buds and make Kif with the fine net (120 my or so) gently .. so you only get fist sort/best stuff ..

then take all the rest .. buds leafs and make oil on it ..
