haha,we have 10% the population. we also arnet in nearly as many wars my friend, thats the great thing not attacking everyone that looks at you wired, you can save a bit of cash. thats not to say canada isnt a force to reckon with. every war weve joined would have failed miserably without our participation. and our airspace wont be needing assitance very long for some reason are fucked up conservative government thinks we need fighter jets. which has just been signed off on.

.... we used the British to send out false radio messages that convinced the Germans we would invade further north. They also help us make giant armies of inflatable planes and tanks so when the German spy plans would come back it looked like our army was in the north.

UK also sent over many doubles agents. They would convince the Nazis by telling them how they are sure to win and didn't want to be part of the losing allies. They would go back and return with fasle information that also helped the allies spread out the Nazi forces .

the mass majority of americans simply believe what ever they are told because... the government wouldn't lie... right? well our government is not what it used to be a loong time ago, our government is crooked business men passed into politics in order to manipulate our people as well as every country that stands in our governments way... allies...? I personally don't believe in the wars we carry out as a country, but have family who fight for what they think is right... not bad people just had the wool pulled over there eyes.

Hate only goes so far,Can you surmount the hate you feel for others?If so then we are not as hated as you think.Any intelligent person can easily figure out that its the governments that deserve the direction of hate placed upon them.If one hates a country because of everything that the media throws out there then they are just puppets,using some common sense or should I say this day and age Uncommon sense one cane see that those in power are very irresponsible, this applies to the majority of governments in the world.Thus our plight of the many hateful.

I do like Ron Paul, he seems to be the only guy that doesnt want to stick his nose in other countries affairs.

around 1980 it stopped being the greatest place on earth to live.

Sorry to tell you but I think america has always been that big bully. Look what we did to the native americans, mexicans, hawaians, etc. WW1 and WW2 were fought out of preservation not emperialism. All the wars prior to and since have not been near as glamerous. If we were indeed the heros you say we were, wouldn't we have come and saved your asses long before pearl harbor? When it gets down to it, we are in it for ourselves, not unlike any other government out there. To put us on a pedistol and give us the responsibility to be the worlds hero is your fault.

No, most americans dont know the extent that we are hated. They THINK they know why we are hated, and they know some big ones, but are ultimately clueless to the majority of reasons. Really, every country actually has their own reasons. Lots and lots of reasons. My step mom came to visit me when I was living in Vietnam, a kid came to try to sell her stuff and she didnt buy. The kid continued his sales pitch and small talk, he asked her,"where you from? Canada,eeng-lan? French?" She said "im american" with a bit of pride. The kid went"ohhhhhhhhhh.....american....very bad!" He made a machine gun with his hands and started pretend firing"ch ch ch ch ch ch ch...very bad" she was SOOOO shocked. I laughed. Now of course we know people In vietnam dont like us too much, but that extends to a lot of places. The funny thing is its our allies who hate us more.

The thing is we do a lot of good around the world, but we have thrown sooooo much shit everywhere its hard hold your head up high

People would ask where im from, I would say america. Their face usually changed. Then I would say,"its not my fault" and they would laugh.

but it had ideals beyond most others.

but yes, founded on slavery and racism.

and doomed to fail from the start (america was made into an empire, empires fall)

but there might be a new america.
