A money order is like a check that you can buy. I get them at the gas station for about a dollar. You can get a refund on a money order if something goes wrong.
is it addressed to the company, like pge for example if your paying the gas? I pay everything with the credit card. That is a cool idea right there at least you can get your cash back if the deal falls through.

What is the difference between cash and a money order? Sorry lol I have never seen one.
lmfao im serious....
Dude, it's something like a check you get at a gas station (for example) It costs less than a dollar, and I just make mine out to herbies for the total amount of my purchase. Simple, and your bank doesn't know your business -

There are also several well known online seed venders at this time who should have authentic Dj Short gear. Unfortunately due to logistics we are unable at this time to verify the authenticity of those seed distributors. I recommend contacting them directly and inquiring about the source of their genetics. And unless you're told that they are in fact authentic Dj Short seeds then they are not in fact Dj Short seeds.

All authentic Dj Short strains offered, with the exception of the Whitaker Blues and Azure Haze, will be of the 4th or 5th filial generation removed from the original parent strain.

Inquiring and verifying as to what filial generation they are will assure you which ones are authentic Dj Short seeds and which aren't . All Dj short seeds, with the exception of the Whitaker Blues and Azure Haze, are either F4's or F5's, they are of the 4th and or 5th 'filial' generation. Without specific access to the 3rd and 4th filial generation of parent stock no one other than Dj Short's Old World Genetics is capable of reproducing authentic f4 and or f5 Dj Short seeds. Nor without access to the 4th filial generation of parent stock no one is capable of reproducing authentic Whitaker Blues or Azure Haze seeds.

So, only reputable sources carrying authentic Dj Short seeds will have access to this filial generation of seeds. Once the inbred line of any of these strains is bred beyond it's "generation of breeder origin" (or the filial generation offered by the breeder) by unauthenticated sources they no longer carry the specific filial traits intended by the breeder and are therefore no longer considered by Dj Short's Old World Genetics as authentic.

This would also be the case for outcrosses from an inbred line or an in-cross to an inbred line. Authentic seed offerings should be apparent to anyone who understands what the breeders specific intention was for each strain in question and to anyone who understand the genetics and what those genetics are capable of.

So, anyone producing unauthentic f2's or further stabilizing an inbred line without the input of the original breeder will be offering a product that clearly doesn't meet the standard of the filial generation offered by the original breeder.

The best way to insure that the seeds you're getting are authentic is to understand what each breeders desired goal was for their finished products in question; how stable were they intending to make it? What colors, smell, taste and high were they intending to re/create....etc.?

Another way to safeguard against purchasing unauthentic seeds is to get to know the genetics in question that you seek and what those genetics are capable of and perform like. Also to do the research needed to verify that the companies you purchase your seeds from understand what the genetics look like, how they perform and that what they're offering actually meets both the criteria of the generation of breeder origin, and the criteria of how the genetics are capable of performing.
Speace...

Is Grape Crush related to Orange Crush at all? I know orange crush is half blueberry, is grape crush a bx to add purple or is it an unrelated strain? Cuz I've never had grape crush but I love my some Orange Crush when I can find it, and if there is a purple version of it floating around I demand to know! :)
Perhaps the two are related, but if they are it's most likely only through the Blueberry. If I'm not mistaken the Grape Krush is from one of Dj's joint breeding projects. It came from another branch of the 'blue-line' from an earlier linage then the Blueberry. So basically the Blueberry's grandparents were revived from genetic stock and bred to have a baby and named it Grape Krush. As far as the association to the Orange Crush, I can't actually speak of any.

Hey Jd, If I had to pick just one of the Blueberry Family for a great day-time, motivational (anti-depressive) HIGH, which would you recommend? DJ's Old line contained "Blue Heaven" and "Blue Velvet" but I don't see either being offered for sale anywhere. So, from those available online now-days, FLO seems like the right strain for our needs. I'm salivating for a True BB also, and am having a tough time deciding.... What do you think ?

I loved Blue Heaven very tasty.

Anyone have any pics of the seemingly "Lost" Blue Heaven and Blue Velvet? What ever happened to these two?

I will be selecting pheno's form the Moonshine or Old Time Moonshine by the end of this year. They will hopefully be backcrossed with an f3 boy that is yet unchosen. I have several pre-blueberry f3 boys going now. I am also currently in the middle of reworking the F-13 and looking for a boy in there as well. If a male doesn't present itself form these selections than the F4 stretch indica Blueberry father will be used. Either way, I expect to be releasing at least one of these crosses by the end of next year. Which one would you like to see again, Moonshine or Old Time Moonshine?

I've got a grow journal up and running on the F-13 now in the seed and strain review section, stop on over and say "high." I'd really appreciate the encouragement and feedback. The F-13 will be reworked in some fashion as well, most likely a backcross of sorts also. I will be picking Dj's brain over what the best course of action for reworking these strains will be. If Im still around here at that time I'll do a grow journal for each of my upcoming projects.

Hey Jd any plans that your family will re introduce Grape Krush? Thanks in advance.
The Grape Krush was literally just moved to the absolute top of my list. I was gonna play with some F3's first but ironically I spoke with Dj yesterday and he independently suggested doing the Grape Krush next. So, this will be the next strain I rework after the F-13. I expect to start this project by the beginning of may this year. And hope to have genetics available for public use for all three of these selections (F-13, Moonshine or Old Time Moonshine, and Grape Krush) by the end of 2017 at the latest.

Most people prefer the Flo for a motivational day time smoke. And it does have the ability to lower inhibitions whereas many strains nowadays do the opposite. However, if you're asking me for my opinion, I prefer the Azure Haze for a daytime smoke. I'm a heavy smoker and the Azure Haze has a little bit more of a zing to it than the Flo. But it also has a little bit more of that 'racy' feeling to it. The Flo really does seems to lower the inhibitions though so if you're looking for a smoke that won't make ya anxious, that's the one.

I like smoking Flo when I know I'll be in an anxious social setting, but prefer the Azure Haze for everyday daytime smoke.

Also, reworking the True Blueberry is on the list. It's just too far down there to schedule in. I got the beans, just need the space and time. ;)

Awesome, we will be looking to score those beans bro :weed: Can't wait to run a personal Breeding project using 2 blue lines. Blue Moonshine Seeds sounds like what I'll be looking for (among others). I'd like to always have "on hand" 2 of Dj's strains: Blue Moonshine (for bedtime)
along with Blue Heaven (I wish !) so probably Flo (daytime smoke). Given Dj's current strains offered @ Hemp Depot, it seems the breeding possibilities are endless and the quality is so superior, Life's too short to smoke schwag. DJ & JD have our vote. Can't wait to see some of your work Jd ! :-P

Right on JD. Good info... sounds like you'll be busy in the garden.

The Azure Haze sounds really nice. Definitely gonna try out one of your strains.... especially when you drop that 50% off RIU discount code! :-)

Nice to hear the work you are doing, and look forward to the new selections.

Also it is nice to be in Michigan, where we can acquire your genetics locally

I have been on the fence between which to run Flo and Azure haze, thank you for the highlighting the differences

Peace

I grew out DJ'S Blueberry and Flo many times back in the early '00s.
Both strains exhibited a tendency to have a couple of mutants per pack of seeds. Both were also somewhat slow growing in early veg.
Blueberry provides a more heavy type indica high, great flavor.
Flo has a more sativa-like up high which I prefer for daytime use, not overpowering.
The taste of Flo I find to be quite nostalgic as it reminds me of hashish from the 1970's...super yummy indeed!
I wish I held on to the genetics.
Here is some Flo I grew outdoors circa 2003.

The F-13 and Azure Haze look like some good daytime Sativas from DJ's line. Decisions, decisions... :weed:
