I've smoked blue velvet but never grew it. The cut I smoked was very tasty. Some of the best tasting I've had. Very sweet, candy-like taste. Wasnt as potent as a lot of strains. If you were growing it id buy just for the taste alone. Or if you had seeds of it id be stoked about that to. I personally think GDP and flo have very different taste/effects, but that is just me and to each their own.@UncleBuck what other than the lack of potency di you not care for the Flo. I personally have not come across a flo i would describe as spicy, though I have heard the description before from other growers. Though not with the ones I have run. She is a burning incense for us, with the flavor and aroma so unique, almost of nag champa.
NO blue velvet? Bluemoonshine?
THe Flo and Blackberry are very similar, as is the Gdp, and yes @DukeOG Granddaddy purps, not saying its the same I simply believe them all to be related in some fashion. Flo breeds well and I have seen her impart a great deal of flavor and aroma to her offspring. Along sometimes with the lower potency
ANybody seen Bluemoonshine? Blue Velvet? I heard the Blue Moonshine was still in Ned floating around, anybody else hear that?
Does DJ have a shishka? I thought that was a Spice of Life (& later Chimera) strain.
WHAT?! I would like to hear/see/taste more about this. PleaseI've got a cut of Blue Moonshine that migrated down to NM.
