Like grown at high altitude said,bb muffin is a dream to grow i just discover it this week iam in curing mode of 4 seed and all phenotype was super stable too !and all carry that bluberry berrys type of smell as well but i prefer this one to Mataro its a new discovery for me iam in Canada and i knew the réputation of bb muffin!XD right now in fact, i have a keeper of bb muffin so purple that i monstercrop it!and yeah just 2 or 3 week of flower and it reek berry everywhere! So iam growing 8 seed of dj short regular for the first time so i gonna see if the legend blueberry is better than bb muffin for me i wiil keep you updated if you have question don hesitate if i can save time and money for good people !

That’s kind of how I remember my old one being. You could pinpoint the afghani aroma but combined with the other aromas and especially from a distance it was straight blueberry muffin. I think I’m going to give both of those a try. I’ll be extremely surprised if the aroma of any of the 5 females I’m growing from this pack change enough to be what I’m looking for.

All my 8 dj short f5 phenos have already turned purple in veg?! I never see this in veg ...this a sign of good quality i think 
do you guys have good methods of sexing for me ?i cannot see pre flewor for the moment but they are young ane im new to regular.. ive been in the feminized game since 10 years+ lol

Female 1 @ week 3-4. Sweet smell, no afghani tones. Slightly fruity but not quite blueberry. Medium bud size amongst phenos.

Female 2 @ week 3-4. A little more of the skinny afghani comes through in this one but the sweet, almost fruity smell is not as dominant. Combined does not yet make up a blueberry smell. Buds are slightly smaller than pheno 1

Female 3 @ week 3-4 aroma like pheno 2. Sweet and slightly more fruity. No afghani smell and does not have the blueberry smell yet. Smallest buds of the 5 females.

Female 4 @ week 3-4. Very light aroma and hard to quite put a finger on. Slightly earthy. So far no fruity smell detected. Larger buds of the group

**UPDATE**
Pants are all moving right along. Seem healthy and sturdy. I had a power outage and forgot to reset my timers for an entire day so I do see some bananas which are completely my fault. Just here and there. Overall they appear to be nice plants with some potential but at this point I’m a bit skeptical. This phenos are similar but different than the ones I grew many years ago. I’m not saying there isn’t a possibility that there is a blueberry smelling pheno to be found somewhere in these seeds but being that they are F5’s I should have found something close. Perhaps it’s just too early to tell

plants are looking good! As for early sexing, it’s pretty easy. Check the nodes where the stems meet, either with your eyes alone or you can also use magnification for earlier detection. The males will produce a tiny pollen sac that almost looks like a single seed casing. The female will first produce a pistil (calyx) that eventually a thin stigma or two will emerge from.All my 8 dj short f5 phenos have already turned purple in veg?! Thank you so much !!i did use magnification and it work i seen a male in my 8 pheno so for the moment iam with 7 ladies i think for the moment thanks again

I think your being a bit harsh on yourself, one day of power out shouldn't hermie a stable plant/pheno.

Did you find something something blueberry to keep finnaly ?im curious because i gonna flip my "maybe " females soon and i have clones rooted of all the phenos..hope is gonna be good !but for now like you said ,the plants do have wonderfull colors

Dj Short's Blueberry is the biggest scam on the market. He had great BB a long time ago but lost his original stock so buy BB from someone else.
