@robincnn I'm planning of running the 4 boards I ordered off a hlg-320h-c2800b am I going to need the vf type boards ? Reason I ask is I didn't even know there was the option when I placed my order
Neither did I, I thought when you ordered 2 or more boards they would be vf matched hope my 4 are!
I will match them for all old orders.
The new Vf option is for new orders starting next week.

Slate 2 is for single board. Just like Slate 1

Slate 2 and Boards are out of stock for now. Will have more stock next weekend.

Quantum Boards grow pretty buds !

No issues with boards - never had a light system run at room temperature constantly.

Today its raining so RH is up but operating temps are quite comfortable . Turning on a dehumidifier tonight when put these girls to bed will be about as easy as it gets.......
Even the COB ENGINES ( citizens ) i bought also from HLG are running at such a low temp , i could barely notice any heat from pin heatsinks.

I like the fact i don't have to run my rig hard either this one or the batwing rig in other tent.

I plan to experiment on some strains with a DEEP RED ADDITION - G8 LED
i have 2 of these from previous grows and that is the reason i didn't BUILD any reds into my builds since i had these units handy. I will experiment with another grow ( at about week 5 of flower to harvest ) running this with the quantums. JUST FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES . Just to see if DEEP RED adds anything worth while.

Have you been running these plants totally with QBs in flower? How long? How close are you to you to harvest? Looks good.

Thanks @robincnn @Stephenj37826 - Any word on the NARROW boards ?

Have you been running these plants with QBs thruogh the entire flower? How close are you to harvest?

Alright! Got my single board set up with a Slate 2 and I'm running my QB with an HLG185H-C1050b. I'm running it wide open, no dimmer. Should be around 115-120 watts.
I found some nice 18 gauge stranded twin lead at TrueValue Hardware. Its much nicer for runs inside a tent than that stiff solid wire, easier to manage.

And boy are my ladies going to be happy! I hung it next to my NGL Mod420 light. I'm running Citi 1825 cobs in it on a pair of HLG240H-C2100b drivers. Right now cobs are run at about 65 watt each.

I didn't even know that was an option until you mentioned it - are you using the sdp-001 to program the driver?
Yes I am

man, reading about that programmer and that dimming program looks complicated as hell.how many drivers will 1 sdp-001 run at the same time ?
I only have 1 to program all the drivers. You are setting a program up to run 12 or 18 hours automatic dimming from lights on to off. It is easy to program it just a lot of options. I have mine come on at 30% then After 90 min at 70% with 2 min transition between levels. 60 min later they are at 100% until they ramp down in the evening. You are limited to 5 steps total up and down

Hate to.clutter an already cluttered thread, any chance you could do a thread on these drivers and programmers for us?
Sunrise/sunset type dimming is all i really want from any type of ballast controller.

I will be putting pics of the room up once it is finished just waiting on a few parts and heat sinks that should've been shipped and wasn't :fire:hint hint hint:wall:

I am also adding 660 and 720 red leds to assist in the sunrise and sunset be patient its just me running a 14x16 flower room and I couldnt stop to make upgrades its been a challenge.

I run the same setup in a 3x3 minus the quantum board and love it.
