Figured i would add some thread food …..

2 Ayahuasca Purple ( 12/12 SOG style ) under QB96rigs with Argomax Pure Par ( lamp is on for photo ) in a layered mix ( Recipe 420 / Dynamyco / EWC / Pumice / Kelp ) tap water . Lst training in progress. QB runs entire cycle with Pure Par lamp then switches off - leaving Agromax Pure Pars for last 30 until off. Iphone color is darker than actual - lamp is a LIGHTER violet / blue .

No particular reason i run it this way.

Unfortunately, that's not information I am privy to. The V2 QB96 is more efficient. However, I'm not of the opinion that is is a must have upgrade. My son-inlaw is running my pre-production QB304s that I passed to him last year! I believe I got them around Dec. 2016. And they're still growing great weed! I ran them 20/4 for years growing autos. Rumor is there will be some new LEDs in the near future, maybe them and upgrade will be worthwhile.

I bought the HLG Elite 360 kit for my 2x4 a couple years ago and still love it. Why have they been discontinued? Also is it worth upgrading to the newer QB96 v2 engines?

Does anyone have any idea why my new Meanwell HLG-320H-54AB driver will only power one QB288 rspec board at a time? It won't power all 3 at once. The Meanwell HLG-320H-C1750A driver powers all 3 boards at once just fine but I plug the HLG-320H-54AB into the same exact setup and it won't power the boards on. HLG themselves recommended this driver to me as I wanted to use a potentiometer to dim the board instead of the annoying screw inside the driver.

Is it just a defective driver or am I doing something wrong?

Yea, I know how to wire it up. I already said it works with the HLG-320H-C1750A driver. And judging by the fact that guy uses red wire for negative and black wire for the positive, id say I know more than him. Either way, the wiring is not the issue.

I was really speaking to if someone is familiar with the HLG-320H-54AB drivers compatibility or maybe I have to adjust the current somehow or something. Or maybe its just a defective driver.

Reach out to @pop22 @Stephenj37826
or HLG directly.

Most of kits are “ plug and play “ without driver “ tweaking “. If you changed something by internal potentiometers then that could an issue. Meanwell drivers also have warranty.

The color of the wire doesn't matter as long as you know which color you went with for pos and neg.

Didnt watch the video, but I'd double check and make sure you wired everything up in a parallel circuit. The previous driver you were using requires your boards to be wired in series.

Sorry if this doesn't hell and goodluck getting this up and running.

Yea, i know but its just standard practice to not use red wire for negative. Especially for a tutorial video.

Thank you sir! This was the answer I was looking for! I was wiring the board in the same way as my other driver. I had no idea the new driver required a parallel circuit. I have not changed it up yet but I can almost guarantee this is my problem. Thanks again

I had the same thought as far as series vs parallel. I believe one driver is CV while the other is CA?

I bought some of the clearance v1 boards hlg was selling a while back.

Did anyone else have an issue with the polarity markings on the board being backwards? Not a big deal, the boards work great and the price was nice, just curious if anyone had the same "problem".
