lol Nitty turnin his dreams into a reality?? Me too bro! learning with my 288's right now this grow may be a little rough but from what I see here... A picture is worth a thousand words I am really excited to get some bigger results!
One thing to possibly consider if going 8 boards is spectrum and drivers. you could run two 4 packs at different spectrums dimmable , but they would need seperate drivers i'm pretty sure for each spectrum? I forget where I read this please confirm someone. I may be mixing this up with the qb288's.

my plan on my grow is to dim the spectrum they don't need and blast the one I wanna use at that point in the grow
with 8 boards u could use 1 driver

I have 2 drivers that are for just this sort of set-up...

I have purchased from Amazon and their website. My first purchase from Amazom I got a board with a string of lights out. Took a pic and I contacted hlg and they took care of it ( just be carefull who your buying from as everyone wants to be "quantum board" ). They let me keep the defective board and told me to drive a little lower. Not often a vendor lets you keep a defective product. It is in the center of my tent on its own driver but I am replacing it with an Rspec since I feel it may misrepresent hlg as I am posting on IG more. I used the same code for the discount.

Monday will be a fun day :) we all know whats it like to open a box of HLG gear. 1 Rspec, 2 qb96e, 4 far red 3board, and 1 4pk qb120 4000k. I am planning to add more gear that totals 7 qb288 and 6 qb96e over a 4x8. As well a dedicated veg spot. I feel the qb96e's will perform nicely in the 100-120 watt range with more boards rather than 155-165 with less. Since I am mixing QB288 v1, 1 rspec and 96e I like to find the right balance. My mindset was running all boards at 100-110 watts. between 30" to 18" depending on week.

I have already experienced to high of light causing problems and deficiencies so hitting the right balance is key for yield and health.

OK karma just came back from the raided Amazon cart. I was waiting for several days thinking on this purchase knowing something I wanted would sell out, but didn't. I just completed my order 48 hrs ago. Just checked the HLG site and the Rspecs are "sold out".."I feel good"....:-D

I really like buying straight from the manufacturer so I am positive I'm getting the legit product, and they tend to be better with customer service

First grow with the 3 board HLG 320 XL Rspec. Flipping to flower in the next week-week and a half. Anyone have any experience with this light? Had it at 25% power for awhile. Bumped it up to 50% for awhile and then I tried 100% at 24-30” for awhile but I didn’t like the way the new growth was growing in so I upped my humidity some and backed the light down to 50% again. Will try to up the light again in flower.
