Anyone know where I can find a decent price on ans Apogee MQ501 PAR meter? Seems pretty hard to find other than Direct from apogee

Honestly, man, I just don't see any reason to use a heatsink with 120s. I'm running my four at max and you could sit a baby's ass down on those boards with no worries. Saying they get "warm" would be a slight overstatement, to be honest.if anyone is upgrading heatsinks, I'm looking for 2 slate1. I don't like running the QB120 bare. yes it works but why not cool it I figure
maybe I need to put a meter on my power supply, mine feels a tad hot
I have a HLG-240H-C2100 that makes a buzzing sound when left hot for a while (I even have it dimmed). Does that happen to yours as well? The drivers always get warm, I remote mounted mine on standoffs to keep them cool. Not having the warm driver in the grow space helps to maintain temps better.

The exchange rate is what it is. I order seeds from Canada in US $ and get no benefit. Ordering seeds from Europe for US is very cheap right now.sorry for the but in question but does anyone know of a Canadian supplier for quantum boards or kits, all I've been able to find is American suppliers with high shipping rates and exchange rate

My hbgs hum a bit when at full blast but there caseless drivers none of my sealed meanwells buzz that i can hear. Rectifing ac to dc does create alot of whats considered electronic noise, they all should hum or buzz just slightly even too low to hear. How loud of a buzz are we talking and does it change when you dimI have a HLG-240H-C2100 that makes a buzzing sound when left hot for a while (I even have it dimmed). I keep it dimmed to a wall draw of about 175w-200w (goes up to about 250w), and the "loud" buzzing seems only to appear when the driver gets hot for a while such as when the canopy fan is kept off foo too long. I was amazed because I heard it while standing next to the room door, the same kind of buzzing some street transformers make.My hbgs hum a bit when at full blast but there caseless drivers none of my sealed meanwells buzz that i can hear.
