Thermistor may work alone or with a resistor in series. check datasheet and resistance vs temp charts . may work on type b driver.

Arduino could be a better way. you will run into that voltage issue .i think outputs are like 3.3 or 5v and does not match the 1-10V that meanwell driver dimming needs.

Thank you for the info. Sounds a little bit above my capabilities but I will look into it. I'm surprised this isn't a feature in any controllers... it seems like it would be a great application for us or even for the aquarium guys out there. @robincnn - make it happen cap'n ;)
 
Seeing quite a few 3500 orders coming through.

My original thoughts were to run a slate 5 with a pair of 3000 and 4000's.

Would I see better flower results with the 3500 boards Qty 4?

Mentioned tighter node spacing possibly?

Stephen recommended the slate 3 and spreading them out for better coverage so I trust his recommendation. Plus later if I get my old 5x 9 back I can just add another 260w kit and test that against the 1K hps

I figured if I am.testinf the QB for flower why not for veg as well. Just glad I was able to snag another in this batch.
 
I ordered 2 triple heatsinks and 6 boards from HLG earlier today but I didn't get a confirmation email or receipt or anything.. Will I get one at some point?.. Also, I'm a little confused about which drivers I need to get to run 3 QB288s per driver. I'm pretty sure it's the HLG-320H, but which one? HLG-320H-C2100?.. HLG-320H-54? I'm still a little unclear on the difference between the driver types and how to match them up with boards/strips/cobs appropriately..

Go to site ledgardener. He has a driver selection option tool enabling you to specify quantity and type of led, COB or quantum board. The calculator will specify exactly which drivers you can
consider to run your specified application.
 
Choppity chop chop day .... GSG - Amnesia

Took them down before lights on ... Chunky chunky nugs. Amnesia was pretty much a single cola style plant ( lowryder pheno cross ) and is what it is. Damn freebies
Quantums have regularly kept my jars full as I usually rotate plants for harvest every 2-3 weeks. I have 3 more plants at week 2/3 so I have a break before another chop.

Quantums have worked fantastic for me ( bedroom / tent grows ) ...Considering my limited grow space I'm pretty happy. Low heat , bright lights and terpy buds ..... It does chunk up much more than my last lights ( led ).
Ambient RH is gonna be very dry this week ( 80 to high 90s ) so I will have to keep my eyes on the drying part.
