PS- I'm gonna do things with these quantum boards that will change the way things are grown indoors, punk. Now go play some techno in your blurple box or something.
Ill give you credit where its due, you are one of the best around here in using hyperbole to make a point. lol

You arent going to change anything though, sorry chap.

These boards do not have optics... but is still LED so light control is wayyy better than CFL
Maybe Im wrong, but I thought Stephen said something about the optics being what really "made" the boards so great in the first place. If that is the case, why are you selling them without the optics?

Says the mouth that criticises but can't show a grow.

I'm doing plenty of innovative stuff.

You're just a blowhard with a bad attitude.

The optics is what makes them great in a commercial type set up (I.E. Non reflective environment.) Most people here grow in tents which makes bare boards totally acceptable. We are going to be getting optics in soon and will have those available as well.

Also the sheer amount of light these produce per watt puts them in a good position anyways. See Capitan Morgan's Grow with no optics.

We have a few optics if the customer wants them. They are designed for optimal canopy penetration not from shear power(kinda works) but actually casting the light from many different point sources to help eliminate shadowing. if you doubt the power of these boards don't lol. The optics can be placed differently to create the intensity you desire. I have them placed all facing in and this is better for a hanging height of 24"+. At 18" directly under 3 boards with all optics facing in the instantaneous PPF measurement is ~1100. I'll have @robincnn post par chart shortly of 2 of these in a 4X4 grid non reflective area. They consist of 3 boards each on a hlg240h-c2100 driver.

Just out of curiosity, did you guys do any test grows with these before you made them available for sale? If so, please share the detailed test conditions and results. Pictures would be appreciated. Thanks

None yet that I have seen on here bro, or that Robinn had told me of when I spoke to him about these. I am keeping an eye on Capt's grow to see what happens.
Yeah, same here. I was hoping these guys would have already completed a couple test runs through harvest with the lights before bringing them public.

Why? Do you really want to wait 3-6 months before getting access to them? Well- you can, but not everyone wants to.

There's no doubt they make great light and plenty of it, the (expensive!) light measuring instruments have already shown that.

Because they've supposedly been in development for over a year from what I was told. So I figured there may have been some test grows already done behind the scenes. And yeah, I'd rather wait on a product to be thoroughly tested in real life situations.

Then of course you're more than welcome to wait and see the results of the test grows.
