DIY Stealth Cab/drawers - Help me, I need ideas

I feel that a stealth grow cab styled grow is the best option for me right now in my current situation.
I have an old set of drawers which measures at 1150mm L x 420mm W x 680mm H.

I plan on removing the draws and keeping the fronts of the drawers and then fix those to a peice of ply to create a door to the grow area.

I plan on SCROG, maybe two plants.
I feel a low heat style of light will suit my sitiation alot better. Something along the lines of Fluro T5 or CFL, though I am lost with what could be a better choice of the two considering the length of the drawers I feel that I could maybe light the space better with lots of CFL's rather than a 3 ft T5 fixture, is there a tutorial on a DIY T5 or CFL fixture to light up a space this size?
should i include UV?
I am open to the idea of LED maybe there is a tutorial on a DIY LED light for a space this size, if so please let me know.

I want air exchange and odor control. any thoughts on what my options are?

Money is tight though i can justify spending if need be. This is for personal use so i want the best quality bud I can produce in an area this tiny.

Cheers in advance.

PS sorry for not posting any pics, the camera is MIA

Have you looked into 250 watt single cfl, area 51 small led would also rock, look into the build yourself carbon filter threads in the new newbie sec tion and save some big buck, cheap online fan from home depot with a speed controller , passive intake, you would rock on low budget

Sorry Inline 4 inch duct fan, PC fans work but carbon filters are pretty small on them but can be made to function

So I have read through Area 51's website, they look like A nice light I've had my eyes on them a while now... 2xRW75 should be enough light for my space though I am worried about heat issues. I wouldn't want to prematurely kill my LEDs. Do you think odour would escape through a passive intake? Sorry for the new guy questions it's just you guys are my only advice and I see people do great things on RIU and I hope to learn along the way.

Cheers for the advice

Odor will not escape as long as your exhaust fan is running , this creates negative pressure,

A51 only ship to USA and Canada not cool at all.. They seemed like the best choice within that price range.
I originally planned on A51 LED in a tent then the cab idea came, I only now realize they wont ship internationally.
what do you guys think would be fair competition for Area 51, they are my first choice but y'know how it is bongsmilie
Gotta do what ya gotta do, so I'll make do with something else if someone has any suggestions.
Also would 1x 250w CFL have enough coverage for an even canopy in a SCROG setup?

In a chest of drawers a 250watt cfl with over 10,000 lumen will do amazing things your space is small , HP's will give you heat issues

Well I personally use Marshydro led lights, RIU users are pro area 51, and thats cool, but i am a poor man, and the marshydro lights are serving me very well, there is a huge thread on them here https://www.rollitup.org/t/marshydro-led-grow.839368/page-39#post-11277525
they ship world wide, the light i am using only cost 100 bucks with free delivery, if you look at the thread you will see many many instances of people having huge success with them
also, dont count out CFL's in a small space, look at this thread and check out the pictures of the super nice harvest and they show the lights, and how they did it every step of the way
http://www.420magazine.com/forums/completed-journals/103846-skooterclowns-cfl-cabinet-grow.html
look thru both of those thread, either direction you will be happy with your results in a stealth dresser, with both of those light paths your heat will be low, and grow will please you

Do you think a Mars 2 400w will be a wise choice? Any idea on what the max would be in this space? I want to fit as much light in my area as possible without the risk of burn or bleaching. I seen you post in the one of the suggested forums (thanks again) about replacing fans and stuff. Are the original fans really as loud as i've been reading? you did you replace them simply because they malfunctioned? Any info regarding the modification of these cheaper lights would be great. I just feel I could get a fuller spectrum into the garden using these LEDs rather than CFL.

the marshydro 400 is a sweet light for a small space, I would use it for sure, but you need to make sure you have enough height, this information is from the mars web page
Germination: 24~30inch; Vegitative:18~24inch
Flowering :12~18inch
so if you have 18 inches above the plant for your led , you will be great, if you run a powerful led to close to the plants it doesnt burn them with heat, it bleaches the leaves, I have seen reports and threads with this issue,
NOW, you can run smaller older led's with the 3 watt led's a little closer to the plant, like the old UFO led lights, or the first gen marshydro lite like the 300watt that pulls 170 watts actual,
which one would I use, the 400 of course if you have the space, it will penetrate deeper, but your dresser will be more about your scrog or lst / top to get a good wide spread
I have seen many speaker/ dresser/ pc / small wardrobe with CFL's grow some bitchin good weed,
its a tough choice i know, and once you commit to it, your kinda stuck unless you want to spend more money, so getting it right the first time sure helps
that 400 mars will replace a 250 watt hps , so if you can get the 400 up high in your dresser cab, and your pots or hydro are low profile, it should work amazing,, simply amazing, the 400 wat mars is so bright it will have you seeing stars if you look at it

the fans in my mars 300 worked perfectly, they were brand new, but they made air noise, just imagine your pc fan on high if your computer is running hot for some reason, and with 3 of the fans running, I could hear wind noise , even thought the wind noise was soft, i could not have that in my situation, my grow box HAD TO BE QUIET, i wanted perfect stealth, as people come and go around here, and people are sometimes in my bedroom where the grow cab is located, replacing the fans with the quiet fans worked great, there is no more air noise, I am also going to suplament the lighting in my box with four 60 watt cfls in the 3200K range, for a total draw of actual 390 watts,
so I will be using a 300 watt marshydro let and 4 sixty watt appollo cfl's the cfl's will go near the corners and the led in the center

Even at moderate currents, CXAs and Veros almost twice as efficient as CFL which means less heat in your box and/or more light. If you want to spend more up front to save money on electricity down the line you can make them almost arbitrarily efficient.

You're better off making your own led with CoB's. Im currently looking into making a setup with vero 10 or 13s which are perfect for a small space and actually pretty cheap. you can find a lot of DIY guides in the LED section
Wish I can find more day led cob builds in led section that showed all the parts most seem to tell you the cob but not the exact power supply and then they get all y techy in talk c do you have a couple of links for these builds your speaking of thanks much for your insight

Sorry to say but its gonna take a bit of homework. I've been creeping on the LED forums for a while but havent pulled the trigger yet.

From what I've learned and the results I've seen some people get with veros and cree CXAs. I would much rather put in a little time and effort and build my own.
