Diy rooting powder/liquid/gel

So I've been working at a cloning nursery for a year now and saw how much we doesn't in kln and supernatural rootburst powder. Both of which are decent priced compared to other products in this industry.
I'm a diy guy and love just seeing what I can make. So I decided to make my own kln, dip n' grow, and clonex but totally different by making them stronger concentration. I'd how for criticism too what I could do better or if I totally was dumb and don't understand anything I'm doing because that's probably true

So I weighted everything by 100 grams. So I did 1 gram of iba, .5 grams of naa, 20 grams of aloe powder (I thought with the studies coming about about its benefits I'd try it out so I don't use so much talc) and then filled the rest of the weight with talc (78.5g). And that was my first powder.
Then I did that same mix except I added a gram of iaa because i remember that awesome dude from raw nutrients during his YouTube seminars said it was important. So that would make a 1% iaa 1% iba .5% naa 20% aloe powder and 77.5% talc.
Then I I dissolved iba naa in 91% isopropyl alcohol and 70% ethyl alcohol. So how I did this was add 50ml of isopropyl to my flask. Added 1 gram of iba and .5 gram of naa. Then filled to 100 ml with ethyl. And mixed on my magnetic stirring plate.
I did it again with the addition of 1gram of aloe powder because it's water soluble and why the fuck not.
Now for my last endeavour. Make clonex. Future note be aware how much hydroxyethyl cellulose I put it bc I made that jelly that farts when you finger it. You're 12 year old self knows what I'm talking about. So this time I did a 400 ml total. I started with 2 grams of iba and 1 gram of naa dissolved it in the same blend of isopropyl and ethy at 100ml. To add mass I boiled distilled water so when I added the hydroxyethyl cellulose would break up easy.
This is where I was dumb. I just started pouring it in without weighing it out because fuck me for being lazy. I got this super thick gel. But I'll see how it works. Gives me an idea to make a tray of thick gel instead of rockwool and see what happens.
Next time I think I'll dissolve the iba and naa in boiling distilled water before I add the cellulose just to lose that alcohol smell. The reason I didn't do it this time was because my first attempt I had the chemicals drop from solution when I added RO water. So I thought it was the water but I think it was just the RO filters need changed.
Other note I didn't iaa to liquid bc i was told or read our it was explained that it doesn't last in a liquid solution for very long.
I believe that's it. O today we took 700+ cuttings and used these powders so we'll see in a week if they work. I just hope to see it being equal to or better than because this is for money and fun. If I made that confusing or it's totally wrong, feel free to help I'm looking to get this right.

I legit just snip a cutting and put it straight into a tiny pot with my soil mixed 50% with bagged organic starter mix (been testing out peat pods now). Cover 6 mini pots with a tupperware and spray occasionally. Never had a clone not root. Does the rooting gel help it root faster? Or in vostok's case honey. How fast do your babies root normally?

I use fresh willow branch tea all summer to clone, works fine, but so does water....so....

I'm still looking for my willow tree

none around here at all ??

@vostok : Are you just using over the counter honey, or something else? How much quicker is it than using nothing?

@HideousPenguinBoy Well it didn't go well. First we had a pH flux that was causing problems with the mothers bc our pH meter although calibrated was off. Idk how. Two bluelabs meters one a hand pen the other the combo meter. The combo meter was off compared to the handheld by .2 points even after calibration. Anyway. Needless to say we had purple stems and dying leaves so the cuts were lacking hard. Second we were using kln and heavy roots which caused our rockwool to get into the mid 7 pH range. So regardless of if it was my powder or the commercial shit it didn't go well. But now we're back on track but a little behind. Until we get our shit to top performance again I'm gonna wait on redoing the trial.
But with that said I have a friend who I have some to so I'll wait to see what he thinks when he uses it

over the counter cheap/hard to touch and sticky too ...honey I warm in microwave first

yep! back then I was cloning with just water

and got a bug of slime about 7 days in

including changing the water daily

but all this is more 'fun' than really practicable

other than having ur babes up in running in 2 weeks at most

over growing out from seed that will take an extra week to get that size

I take my clones at about the size of a pen and trim like little trees

Technaflora's root tech cloning gel is the best there is hands down, But if your trying to DIY it, honey works really well and is totally natural BB

Aloe vera works well also

I have a bunch of cloning stuff including Clonex, Dip and Grow and the Dyn Tek or whatever that brand is. I generally just use that Schultz white powder they sell at Wal Mart, Lowes, HD and just about anywhere. It works well.

I might try that honey idea. I sometimes get gunky roots or the freak bugs from gnats in the clone dome. I may go back yo my clone king.
