DIY Led light or MH and HPS?

CMH has a considerably better spectrum than LEDs do, you will get much higher quality buds with a CMH compared to a LED due to the additional UV and quality of the spectrum.
Not any more. White COBs have wasted green and yellow. Red is used the most efficiently.

chilledgrowlights have a spectrum tool on their website.

However on a budget the viparspectra PAR 1200 with separate dimmable controls for each channel RBW would cover your area. I'm using the PAR 700 it's quiet and cool running and you can just use the white only on 50% for clones or seedlings.

How is green and yellow wasted with proper intensity? Plants do indeed use these wavelengths for photosynthesis.

On a budget, throw together a strip build and hit 700-800 umol=m2 and you'll do great without c02 being added. Keep temps between 78-83 though

You can grow with Viparspectra models but it isnt worth the cost honestly imo.

blurple lights are garbage, they are considerably worse than HPS, they do not even come close to CMH lighting.

Hello,I can read than Purple lights is not so efficient than HPS or 3500K Cree CXB3590 72V
I home made a 4*100w CXB3590 with 2 HLG-185H-C1400A.
Now I plan to add 4 COB for having 8*50w but I'm not sure for connect 4 cxb3590 in 200w hlg-185h-c1400a.
A friend say than is possible to run 4*50w in hlg-185h-c1400a.I wait for confirmation from others profesional COB users.
The CXB3590 3500K work well for both grow and flower period,do it yourself.
BIG UP Have good vibes.
