Has anyone else been to a dispensary in Grand Rapids today (3/7/13)? I went by my usual spot today only to find out that they had been raided by the police the night before which was evident due to the lack of meds and medibls. The most screwed up thing about this blatant disregard of a patients right to acquire their meds in a safe and legal way is that according to the owner of the dispensary, the police never charged him with anything. They just came in and confiscated everything! They even took the posters off the wall!!! When will the will of the people be enforced? Will it ever? Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone else's shop got shaken down last night? I know for sure my guy is lookin for anybody who's got overages that they're tryin to get rid of. Holler at me if you can help my homie out. Fuck the pigs!!! They're angry and bitter because we're winning this debate on all fronts, especially in the arena of public opinion. They realize that the only way they can hurt the dispensories is to hit em' where it really hurts...in the pocketbook! Get out there family and support your local dispensary. Don't let the man get away with this obscene and outright abuse of power. Let's get out there and show these bureaucratic bunghole's that our community is as strong as we've ever been and we're in this fight to the finish!

Is the dispensary filing a lawsuit ? Did LEO act in an illegal manor ? Did they take anything that would be personal property ? Were they paying LEO overtime to do something that could have been done during regular hours ? Demonstrations are good but lawsuits would have a big impact , If the same officials that gave them the okay to open also gave the orders to close them down then sue their asses . Use the law to fight the law . If they were in violation of a law then why no charges ? That’s an illegal act in itself , they can not steal the dispensary's property .

Hasn't done shit yet. The county prosecutor is still fighting it and the judge doesn't rule on it until April 24th.

Don't like to see anyone in handcuffs for cannabis but the dicks heads at Cooperative Care/American Meds deserve it.
They told me I shouldn't be allowed in because I was 20 years old at the time and treated me like a punk ass kid. Apparently they know more than my doctor who I had been seeing because I have celiac's disease and had been going through a ridiculous amount of nausea and pain at the time. I'm sorry but what gives the bud tender the right to say I'm not worthy? Oh yea absolutely nothing other than being a judgmental ass hole. Nothing but scumbags of the medical marijuana community.

Normally I would agree but... Go look on their facebook page. Other people are happy they are closed too. They also called one of their customers a cock sucker on their facebook page. Sorry but they make the rest of us look bad. I've never seen adults act so immature in my life.
I know, I'm a hypocrite, whatever.. If they were there for the patients it would be a completely different story. I've never heard one good story about Cooperative Care/American Meds. I've only heard complaints about how poorly they treated their customers and how they charge more for the EXACT same cannabis that is grown from the same person that other dispensaries carry. They also donate less for their growers product than any other place.

im pretty sure i got slipped a mickey, and a little somethin happened. sec 8 was written for clubs, it had to be. i wonder where the draftsmen are today, it seems they would be pushing it, for it's purpose.
aren't all these folks obtaining meds for donation, unregistered patients? that's why they aren't accepting new patients, they are gonna try and say that their customers are UNREGISTERED PATIENTS, engaged in medical use. i think more needs to be done with section 8. if the supreme court would decide as literally as it did on this case, you would all be my unregistered patients tomorrow.

We took in 'Tiny' ( he wasn't ) and explained that if we ever felt that we where not getting the family plan Tiny would be stoppin by. Only lawyer I ever trusted;(
