Dinafem OG Kush + Diesel SCROG 400w DS

Hola muchachos!

So after my 1st grow was pretty damn successful I thought i'd go ahead and do a grow journal for my 2nd.
I'm a bit late starting (week and a half or so), but here we go!

Soil is a basic potting mix bought in a gardening store mixed with some strange potting ferts a mate had lying around (I used the same soil in my first grow and found it to be lacking N, hence the mix). My nutes and additives are the full BioBizz range (bought in a nice n handy start pack. Thank you http://thebigshop.com).

Pots are roughly 20l (not quite sure, perhaps a pro can eyeball it and let me know )
Light is a 400w dual spec SunMaster.
Seeds were both Dinafem; OG Kush in the round, Diesel in the Square.
1 x 25w desk fan blowing across the top
No thermohygrometer as of yet, should have one tomorrow

OG Kush significantly bigger than the diesel.
Using a 10 litre watering jug to provide a mix of root juice (5ml per L ( 50ml ) )

Took some new pics. Looking very very good. OG Kush stinks if you touch it and smell your fingers, is that normal for a seedling?

I hope your OG kush turned out better than mine, it turned out to be a runt and I had to chop it in veg

From what I can see its going to turn out very well. I guess its early days yet, but the growth rate is astounding.

I wish i wouldve SCROGd my OG, it branches out CRAZY!! mine is starting to get nice and frosty now.

Good to know man! Tell me, is there anything I should be aware of with OG Kush?

possibly over did it with nutes, some weird yellow spots starting to show on the diesel. Not sure what this is yet, gonna spend the next hour or so researching. Possibly too much N?

More pics. Growth is going pretty damn good. Whatever was giving the Diesel yellow spots is gone, damage has stopped completely.
Could've been heat stress looking back. Fan wasn't positioned right and it was just the same stale air being circulated and heated.
When I got the thermo/hygrometer it first showed 29c and 27%. Now after adjustments its stable @ 24-5c and 40-50%.

Gonna water with the usual of 10l left standing for 24hr with a half dose of bio-heaven and bio-grow.

Highly suspicious of the soil i'm growing in so decided to flush.

Looks like i was right to flush! After 5 days we see serious growth.
Watered today with the usual 10L and 10ml of both bio grow and bio heaven.

Holy Christ...... U feedin them steroids or what......??? Hahaha.... Ill keep an eye or two on this 1......!!

Cheers man. Pretty surprised meself. Would love to hear from a pro on whether this is the usual growth rate, but it seems to be just me reading this yoke

Hard to find Dinafem OG info... I have one Dinafem OG kush in flower right now. its about 40 days into 12/12. The phenotype i got has fairly thin bladed leaves, but short. It wants to grow 100% vertical with ZERO side branching. i topped it once and kept 2 sets of nodes to grow out into 4 branches. It never once tried to grow out ANY secondary stems... just little bud sites all the way up and down the stems. They concentrate mostly on the top of each stem, with a big rock solid top nug. My plant even has lots of resin on the stems of sun leaves... possibly the most resin covered plant ive ever grown. Its kind of tall tho, and it seems to be more towards the Sativa side of the spectrum. My particular phenotype reminds me very much of how the Skywalker OG grows. Nothing but good signs so far from this strain! no hermies either!
