dont feel bad about the aroma. i got to smell my blue widow today :) mine has burn marks on all the leaves from high heat/intense light/low humidity/Chlorine. ugh what a combo. yours is much prettier. plus mines only about 2.5 weeks into flower.

Yes I see what you mean by the sativa traits. Today is day 55 flowering. My last harvest was dinafem white widow auto which blew away my previous Sweet Seeds auto cheese and WOS afghan kush Ryder grows, as well as the northern light auto I grew. Although I will grow the Afghan kush Ryder again as I have a bean and am more experienced than the first go around. Sorry to hear about the burn but you sound like you know what you are doing so I'm sure they will turn out just lovely! I will be putting an order in for more photo-beans here with in the next few days and have read through hundreds of breeder descriptions and still am unsure of what I wanna grow next. But most definitely will be cloning next time around. Decisions....decisions!

im like a living strain encyclopedia so ask me any and all questions you want my friend. i have about 40+ strains in seed right now, so ive done my research. :)
of course i cant sit here and say i know it all either, that would be ignorant. but im pretty good at diggin up strain info these days if u need help.

what is tickling your fancy from the get go? you looking to grow more chemdawg breeds like the og? what do u prefer to smoke ultimately: sativa/indica/hybrid. do u like skunks?

no honestly your blue widow plant knocks mine out of the water as far as looks go. u might beat me out on yeild too. ill go snap a pic for ya.

Ooh I will pick your brain lol...as I stated before I am a cardio + martial art instructor and I like to smoke before I workout so my next strain I am looking for an upbeat high vs a sedative affect. After working out the wife and I like something that will kick our asses; not for hunger as I love food ready but more or less a couch lock. For bedtime; something that will knock me out as my racing thoughts keep me up and early mornings come fast. After you spoke of the BW's hardness I ran downstairs to see for myself. Yes my friend, again; you would be correct. Hard as rocks. As hard if not harder than the og. You can see in the pictures that most of the flowering has been concentrated in the solid mass of a main cola. I just took some pics also, one sec and ill upload.
oh and skunks; yes sir I loathe.

its embarassing lol. im sure it will still give me good bud, but i let it get like that and now the yield will suffer.

in my mind, in my head, this is were we all came from. the dreams we have, the love we share, this is what we're waiting for. sry im grooving to some axwell while riu'n :)

well lets see here... sounds like you'd like to have a nice heavy indica and a more upper strain as well for the daytime. i can agree there!

Sativa heavy skunks are great daytime smokes, there are lotf of those. Critical Jack would be a good choice, but it may not be sativa enough. Moby dick is fairly strong for a sativa imo, but its also worth a consideration. those are both dinafem strains btw. amnesia is good too, has a powerful fruity smell/taste too.

as for the knockout indicas... i have yet to smoke anything that comes close to the indica power of pre98 bubba kush and Nirvana's medusa. sleep time meds almost, great for muscle aches too. they both grow slow as hell too. La Con is another one, La Affie too which is the mother. Tora Bora is LA x pakistan and just got first place in some cbd aimed competiton.

how much do you care about vigor, speed of flowering, height, etc.

I'm no fitness dude but i work out or try to and I like to burn before i do. Which isn't saying much because i burn efore everything like most of us here i'm guessing. lol. It keeps me focused if its a energetic, uppity high like you said you like as well.

I am going to be ordering some dinafem genetics shortly. Going with the cannalope kush. hopefully they turn out as nice as yours and i will be a happy camper.

Your good; as the dinafem's you stated are at the top of my list. The money dick I am leaning more towards with your input. As far as the pre98 bubba kush I am about to check my Swedbank's website to see if they carry it. Vigor And speed of flowering pre my current grow was fast as possible as I grew only auto's...but with RIU's help has taught me patience and I am willing to wait for what I want and I think I will add a veg tent. I own my house so I'm not worried too terribly much about space in width but I had to use pipe cutters to remove 2" off my grow tent to squeeze it into the height of the 6'3" ceiling. I germed my first seed 4/20/12 and have been learning a lot along the way. I have not cloned, topped, etc yet as I have only let them suckers grow naturally but I will take it to the next level, next grow.

no twice. it was vegged kinda wierd but it worked out in the end. i always try to do multi top plants. day 20 of 12/12

id like to grow the plants with one terminal cola but is just so hard to deal with the height that way. plus im not sure that the lower stuff gets as much potency since there isnt much light on it. so i always try to lollipop and top.

lol beautiful.... i geuss. :) i love her regardless!

sounds like you would like moby dick or amnesia haze the most outta what dinafem sells. critical jack would grow faster, and yield better than both tho.
they do have a couple that appear to be more sativa dom tho. Royal Haze, and Santa Sativa. i really dont know much about them to be honest tho.

the pre98 is most likely only found from the cali connection(which i refuse to support) or clone. Your better off looking into LA con or Medusa. imo. maybe look into catarct kush. thats la con x ogk. pretty good strain.

Emerald triangle sells a few different pre98 bubba hybrids too. i forgot. i have a single seed of a few of their sttrains but ive yet to try them.
bubba 76, mastodon kush, royal purple kush, and grapefruit krush are all pre98 hybrids. there are quite a few other breeders with pre98 bubba hybrids now too.

one of my personal all time favorites all around was Nirvana Chrystal. i could smoke that stuff anytime of day and still enjoy it, great hybrid. plus it tasted awesome and grew fantastic. another good nirvana strain is raspberry cough, its mostly sativa. giggly kind of stuff. one of the strongest smokes i ever tried, who ever grew that knew what they were doing.

I think I am stuck on Dinafem Critical Jack and Moby Dick. Do you have any experience with or what have you heard about Barney's Farm G13 Haze?

Entering or in the final 2 weeks. I had thought the ogk would finish first but the BW has made significant advancements within the past several days.

My first grow was of 20 Violator Kush from Barney's
None of them grew the same(very unstable genes)
Majority were Sativa dominate(in a strain claimed to be mostly indica)
All went 2 weeks longer than the 9 wk recommended(some went 95 days more sativa types)
All tasted bland/musky flavored with a weak buzz(nowhere near 25%THC like they claim)

Fluffnstuff is all I have to say about the ViolatorK.

I gave away all clones and got mad friends for giving them crap genes>never bought another Barney's strain since
If you can't find even a DECENT phenotype out of 20fems...bad breeding or terrible genetics

Get 40 seeds or more if you want a keeper in Barney's Farm newer strains (probably should've tried their B.Cheese first)

If you want a great INTENSE HEADY sativa buzz with around 10-11 wks. flowering(possibly less on some phenos.)

I only bought 1 seed and got a total winner in every category Peppery+Sweet+Skunky Funk Flavor/Intense Mind Altering Sativa buzz/Respectable yield(above average) Wish I didn't lose the Genes in a move! They still have some on Sea of Seeds and TSD.
I might order some more myself if they don't sell out before I get to them
