Dialing In Closet Ventilation

First off thanks for stopping in and giving up some time to help.

secondly, sick set up and your plants look happy

what are your canopy temps and what are you ambient temps nearbottom of containers?
How big is your closet?
You say you have exhaust up high intake down low which makes sense I have the same set up with exhaust whole and 185 cfm put through I don’t have an intake whole as my fan is over rated for my space and I’m relying on negative pressure to draw air in.... maybe an intake will help me?

mom done worrying about my soil temps right now it’s agood detail to pay attention to but I feel once my canopy fills in it will be more shaded and cooler down there.

just order els 300 led last night........

many insight on my airflow set up would be helpful.
I have my inkbird set to kick on at 73 degrees and it brings the canopy up to 79 then drops to 73 then repeats process all day. The heater is in the room outside the closet.
one thing I’ve been cheating is exhausting right into the room the closet is in perhaps I’ll have better luck venting that air out of the room?
Cheers.

sick set up
Thank you. My canopy temps stay around 80f and I am around 75f at ground level. I run 4 different rooms in the same room with that closet. The closet counts as one. Measures about 2 1/2 ft wide x 6 ft long. I vent that closet right into the room that the closet is in. I also do the same thing with my other rooms. Pull from the same room and exhaust into the same room. It took a lot of tinkering with to find the sweet spot for each room without interfering with the other rooms. I then use an air conditioner to exchange the air in the main room all the rooms are in. If that makes any sense.

It does make sense.
I thought my set up was claustrophobic.
Sounds like you got a busy room.

your ac is keeping the room cool and bringing in constant fresh air.

I may have to bring an a/c into the mix. With new light.
However it is winter on east coast so thus far I’ve had to heat and humidify.
When I switch to flower I’ll probably have to cool slightly and dehumidify.

It kinda always just takes some tinkering to get things right then when you got em right it’s a big relief. So far everything has been working well for me but once plants get large and start to really transpire and I send them into flower I’m going to have to make some adjustments I’ve got a pretty good idea.

I got off topic.

yiur 75 at soil temp and 80 at canopy.
That’s really what I’d like to achieve.
But so far it’s been 77-79 at canopy and 77 78 at soil

It's 11 degrees outside right now lol and I still have the AC running. I just turn it on the highest setting or even fan mode. I have turned it off before without any problems besides the temps rising about 3-4 degrees in each area. My tents are also in the same room as the closet like I said along with a seedling box. Also your temps aren't that bad honestly. How's your humidity?tents.jpg

Right I’m just being overly obsessive. I do agree my temps are reasonable.
just soil temps little high but not even
My humidity is controlled by inkbird controller
I check and log highs and lows every 24 hours
Last check humidity high 52 low 48 ‍♂

Do you run co2?
Thanks for the help again man you seem like the RIGHT man to talk to about closets in rooms!
For whatever it’s worth!
