did you forget the eagles play in the NFL?
lets not jump on the eagles bandwagon just yet, they are gonna have issues with the OL. Vick better keep in shape, hes gonna need it.

It's a long season folks! Injuries... But seriously, the Lions? Smoke another bowl. I'm an Oakland fan, so I'll smoke a bowl with ya and we can at least hope to fuck up our divisional rivals.
Im not saying im counting the lions out entirely, but superbowl? They will have their work cut out for them, but I see 8-8 for the lions. I dont think that will win the division, but maybe they get lucky and go 9-7 and compete for the wildcard.

First, you know what i find humorous? the fact that you think just because we dont live in michigan means we dont see the lions or any other team for that matter even with todays advances in technology. Second, as you said, its the preseason, you really think you saw tom brady playing? Billichek wouldnt let that happen, that was his alter ego Thomas Brady, and he wasnt playing to 110%. Third you really think you wont miss nick fairley?? Fourth, stafford being a injury prone will come back to haunt you. Fifth and finally, beating a team to get a different team in the playoffs is like robin punching a cronie to help batman beat the joker. . .no one cares about robin as long as batman beats the joker.
Your argument sucks, Alter ego Tom Brady, lmao, thats funny. Yes with advancements in technology you SHOULD know how good the lions have been going back to the last 4 games of last year even without Stafford. And NO we won't miss Fairley for the first game, The lions last year were 6th in sacks in the league and had a dominating defensive line!!!! Without Fairley!!!! Stafford is not injury prone, hes never been injured before coming to the NFL and the only reason he got injured is cause our line blows and he got drilled both times, one on a hail mary. Which he came back in and won the game. And lastly your saying robin would beat batman? Cause that's what happened last year. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but making negative comments on a team just because of their past and not making a educated opinion based on actually watching their games is what I find funny.

The only thing that hurts the Lions is losing Leshoure.

Detroit has always been a team that can't away games, let alone outside ones in the weather. LOL- thanks for the laugh........ By the way, if you do like them- you can get 34-1 odds to win the SuperBowl in Vegas.

Wow I might have to drop some money on that... nice odds and not really probably, but possible.

The Lions?!?! Really???? I hate the Lions.. and for one reason only. That reason being.. that might sisters ex-husband absolutely loves that team. I don't like him because of the way he treated my sister.. and I don't like him because of the way that he treats his son and daughter (my niece and nephew) that he had with my sister.. he treats them like shit!!

So, therefore... screw the Lions and the horse they rode in on.

Just MO.

peace.

So your basing your opinion of a team on a douchebag who has nothing to do with the Lions besides being a fan? LOL

While I agree, the Lions are one of the up and coming teams in the NFL... and I like them ALOT to go far this season... theres alot of variables. 1st of all.. if Stafford gets hurt, their season is sunk... again. And they'll probably look for or draft a QB who is more reliable.

2nd... If the Lions have any hope for a super bowl, they're gonna have to go through the Eagles (Michael Vick) and the Packers (Aaron Rodgers). The Lions are VERY good, especially on their defensive line, but can they overcome the offensive firepower of the Eagles and Packers? Also, their secondary and defensive backs are suspect... which might be a huge problem.

Overall, I like the Lions alot, and this may be their breakout year, but at best I think they might sneak into the playoffs and lose in the first round. Just not ready yet unless a miracle happens haha.
