Hi, I'm just wondering what Dehumidifier everyone recommends for a 4x4 tent

I picked up a 55 pint dehu, really like it but I’d suggest getting a bigger one than you need and run it outside of your tent in the room where your tent is located/drawing air from.
I find dehu’s tend to throw a fair amount of heat in the discharge air, especially if it’s running more often, running it outside the tent would help even the temps(and humidity lol) out.

Looks ok, I would be a bit wary of ‘offbrands’ for dehumidifiers; they can be finicky and fail, so I’d see about trying a name brand dehu with some kind of warranty. My understanding is that people tend to get what they pay for with dehumidifiers.
The Frigidair line is pretty well reviewed and the price point seems right for what you get.

I think I'm going to go for this one, it removes 20 liters a day from the air and it has a built in app you can use with wifi

Got this 50pt Midea Cube with built in pump from Home Depot and am very happy with it so far. Has an app with wifi so you can change settings and get alerts on your phone. Takes a decent sized space in my 4x4, but it drops RH fast even on the low speed fan setting. The pump works up to 16ft away so you don't have to manually empty it

I might have to take a look at a few of them at a store before I buy one because that's my biggest worry, I don't want it to be too loud

Just make sure to clean catch bucket weekly. It's common for all dehumidifiers to start forming combinations of bacteria and mold......you can feel the " slime" in the bottom of bucket. I did my research and I went with this one in the End, it's a 50 pint Compressor Dehumidifier and it's super quiet, it's only 40 decibels and it works best at 68f to 85c, it cost me 400 dollars, I didn't want to cheap out seeming as I paid 900 dollars for a LED light https://www.amazon.co.uk/MeacoDry-Arete®-One-25L-Dehumidifier/dp/B093TLCDVC

I'm about to buy one as well and wanted to mention midea owns arctic king, comfee, koolking, pelonis and toshiba and is a GE parts supplier as well.
Ivation, perfect aire, SuperClima, Whirlpool, and Whynter had recalls in August 2021.
Amazon, Walmart and best buy have been known to sell used dehumidifiers as new, so check before you take it home.
Just some things I've learned recently, might help the next dude

Haven't purchased yet, waiting on a deposit to clear, but definitely will have auto restart as well as pump. I'm leaning toward the midea 50 pint. I like the Frigidaire and GE as well.
