Deformed

Why is This leaf deformed like this.
I would say from topping too early and or faulty genetics. Is this an autoflower or photo? I have some auto flowers that grew up to be almost useless due to deformities and mutations of the plant structure.

I just topped after seeing. Was a random I got from a friend and popped. Figured it could be a genetic issue Just was confirming. why do your feel the topping was to early? I was trying to see if this stage would be ok to top and so i could LST early as well

Could also be a deficiency, I’ve had high ph cause leaves like that, and if it continues it will usually get a glossy look to the leaves effected. It starts from the bottom up, I think what I had was a boron deficiency. Check your ph.

I would wait to top until the plant has at least six nodes or six sets of branches. If you top top early it may very well stress and stunt the plant.

Just like us people, plants are all born different. As others have advised, could be genetics, environment, deficiency, or just how it is, just like the 3 leaf mutants we see from time to time. I find it fascinating to see how different they grow!
