Defoliating during flower.

Guys and gals. Not too much experience behind me but learning.

These girls have been through he'll, day 10 of flower today, had a vigilant leaf strip about 18 days ago but realised now they took fuck all to bounce back and it looks lile i did nothing.

I'm running out of vertical grow room so first 10 days of flower they stayed under the 400w and were fed the same line up of veg nutes. Today bumped to 600w and gpt their first bloom feed, hopes to this stunting their upward growth a bit.

I'll wait a bit for them to get past this shock first but is their any window of time in flower I can defoliate again or ive got what I've got till the end of the grow now?

Cheers

You can defoliate a little at any stage in flowering just be careful not to touch the stigmas, those white hairs on the buds.

Cheers bro will keep that in mind.

You'll get different opinions on when, if ever, to defoliate. I'd wait for about three weeks to let the plants stretch before removing leaves, then concentrate on the lower growth to make sure there is airflow. The canopy looks great.
Canopys a little slanted, 2 jack hereres in the back popped a week behind the Bruce banger but hulk has really hulked out over em.

I defoliate 2 weeks before 12/12 to give the plant time to recoup and work on growing out the remaining leaves. This way, they can put in work during the stretch, while still keeping over foliage density down

Then defoliate basically as soon as the stretch is over to open up bud sites to light and allow for extra airflow around buds as they grow.

Beyond this point though, I generally try to avoid removing leaves, and just let the plant grow. I'll cut a leaf tip or a single blade here or there as needed if a leaf cant be tucked, otherwise the post stretch defoliation is the last point I remove anything

Some people dont remove anything the entire time the plant grows though lol, so just do whatever you want.. as long as you dont mangle the plant, and provide a good grow environment, you'll grow killer nugs
