after having done scrog both ways, i can say it will probably come down to personal preference. although, i can say for sure that my yield of actual med quality buds was not hurt, and i ended up having a lot more hash material, especially because i let the light sit over the lower bud sites for a week, which helped frost em up and thicken em a bit. as for my upgrades, i am starting to purchase things starting today, and plan on getting all my gear setup over the next couple weeks. overall there are a few things i have decided. i have decided against doing flood tables, and i am going to just add one more large reservoir, and do dwc in the same manner as before, although this time with more slots. ive got the dwc thing down to a science to where i dont even have to pay attention to my grow but once a week, so im going to stick with it. i also decided against getting the 1kw, and i will be putting 3x600w in my 4x8, and ive got a friend who is bringing me a 4" t5 for my veg tent. i just hope it will fit, because the dimensions of the tent are 3'11"x3'11. i just dont want the 600w in that tent because it heats it up something serious if i dont keep an eye on things. because the duct run is longer and has a couple bends in it compared to the big tent, it draws less air even though ive restricted airflow on the other side. overall though, now that ive made up my mind, and figured some ways to save a little money i am pretty geeked about the upgrades... as for the hash, ive got all my material freezing right now waiting to figure out what im gonna do with it... i just have a shortage on time so it can sit there for a while lol...

yea i was previously aware of gumby, and im starting to lean more towards bubble anyways, just based on the ability of me being able to do it in house...

ordered pretty much all my new gear, the extreme q vaporizer, and some bubble bags since dudeguy is takin forever with gettin back to me about the bho tube... ended up getting another 600w, so it will be 3x600w in the 4x8, doing dwc, not tables, and thats pretty much it... catch up with all this when the gear gets here later this week...

You'll love the bubble bags, used mine again yesterday. What size did you get?

Durabality would be the cost factor me thinks. I don't see my 1 gal freebees lasting long.

Looks just like the ones I got off ebay except mine don't have that drawstring lock on the rope......used my whole bag set on 4 runs with no prob.....used the work bag about another 3-4 times with the gumby method.....pretty durable for the price....I say good buy!!!!!!!

yea i seen those glass pieces on ebay, and was thinking about gettin em, but ive got a lot of material and i think now the bubble bags will serve me better... time to get some sleep, a lot of my gear shipped today, the vape is comin from canada so it may take an extra day possibly...

well my vape has left canada @00:22am est, and was only in toronto, so it should fly directly to detroit, there is a possibility it could reach me tomorrow, or the next day...

Damn....that's a cool vape....could you tell use where you got it....I know what you mean about vapeing.....I pulled out the DBV vape during last harvest and like you said,I felt like the first time I ever smoked......I was so fkn high my girl had to harvest by herself one night....LOL....felt all wobbly!!!!

kk, so i got my 4x4 outfitted with t5s for free from a friend who had ones he ordered by mistake... and here is some pics from harvest i never uploaded... at some point i will upload macros of the finished bud before it is all gone... new journal to come soon, lights are being hung in the big tent tonght... should be runnin 1200w tonight, and then 1800 in a couple more weeks...

i believe it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 22oz of tops and a lot of hash material (popcorn, sugar, etc)... there are some happy patients, ive been really fuckin stoned since harvest so i forgot to mention it, but i do have a 5 gallon bucket full of popcorn, and tonight i got my bubble bags... very soon i will be whipping that up, probably sunday hopefully, if not, monday... also all my lights are here now, so my new journal will be starting.
