Day 35 of Flower, small buds? Expected yield?

I would say you 3 or 4 zips total. That 300 watt light is probably really only 100 watts. If you have a watt meter plug your light into that and see what your really pulling from the wall. If your flowering 4 plants under that one light your going to end up with a lot of airy small buds. LEDs are good lights just not the blurple color ones.

dannmmm thats reallly upsetting, surely its possible to get more though right, with the longer veg and the foxfarm nutes im using? Thanks for all the info man appreciate it!

Hey everyone so im currently growing 4 plants. 3 Blue Dream, and a Red Dragon. Growing in soil, using fox farm nutes using there schedule, working fine, no deficient's yet. But i expected the buds to be bigger on day 35 of flower or am i tripping?

Also these plants were vegged for 7-8 weeks and thrips encounter late in vedge so had to give them longer whilst i treated them with Neem Oil.

Also if any advanced growers could give me a rough idea on yield purely based on my pictures, i just have a lot of doubt i will get a good yield as i believe my buds should be much bigger at this point, considering Red Dragon is only a 55-60 day strain i cant see the buds getting that big in the next 20-25 days..

Thank you

On a healthy plant your bud size is relative to the amount of light you have, and you don't have much, also you said you didn't turn it to full power until recently..

Yer man i really fucked up there, my plants are probably 5ft tall look healthy as can be, do you think i should give it an extra week of flower becaouse i only recently switched to full spectrum?

well thats upsetting having someone else confirm it, i researched the hell out of lights and all i saw was LED'S are the new thing etc, do you have an idea of yield off of 4 plants using a 300w LED, foxfarm trio nutes, soil, 8 week veg. Thank you for your time bro.

I think you should listen to the people above and stop counting weeks, because you can't determine a plant's ripeness that way

the thing is are you counting from when u flipped? as it can take a week to transition from veg to flower? so maybe more like 4 weeks. and id say with that light prob 3 zips 4 if your lucky. like everyone else said next grow upgrade your light. i made the mistake using blurple and got an oz a plant now im more experienced and use hps i get 2 oz a plant.

The vigor of the first two or three weeks in flower is for me the main determinant (other than genetics) of yield. I.e. are you going to have a few round nugs or some tall colas.
The next two or three weeks is ensuring you don't overfeed without the plant falling short of anything. This will determine how fat they get.
The final 3 weeks are spent on flushing if that is your thing or paying close attention to the plant needs until they are ripe. This will determine how good they smoke. but also still counts toward yield as the plants don't just stop growing.

Yes from when i flipped i started counting, so maybe even take a week off my total weeks of flower? Do you guys go by buds forming or flip when refering to switching to flower? Thanks man

I was planning on starting a 2 week flush when i see the first set of amber trich, sound good?

All depends on how long your pots take to dry out again.
For some reason they are taking like 6-7 days most times with 5gal pots, unless im just been too safe and letting them dry out too much, but i really didnt/dont want to overwater. Also should i still use molasses in my flush? Thanks boss.

That is debatable... it is not essential.
I don't like the boom and bust aspect of it.

I have a bestva3000 blurple and I'm on day 35 and my buds are gigantic, hairy, smelly and already well formed. Nothing like yours. I'm used to this being near picking time, judging on how they look. I'm chopping around day 70... i can only imagine what's to come.

If you're still looking for advice.... up your blurple to a higher wattage. People on here will tell you blurple sucks, but high wattage blurple seems fine to me. And there's no heat issues/ventilation needed. I'm in a damn carpeted apartment closet with tons of light leaks and no hermi issues either. Talk about lazy.

Would love to hear/see more from others using high wattage blurple lights..
